Strong, Quality Thread
I like the smooth texture and the strength of this thread. It sewed smoothly over thick corners of quilting layers. Also it is a true black, with no undertones of other colors. A little pricey but if quality is what you want, this won’t disappoint!

Works for FMQ with size 100 needle
I used this for free-motion quilting on my sewing machine very successfully. Just use a size 100 needle. I like it so much I just bought other colors.

Applique thread
I'll be using for applique sewing as well as making animal whiskers on cartoon designs for quilts. 12 wt thread was what the designer recommended. Should work just fine.

It works really good for rolled hems done on a serger
It works really good for rolled hems done on a serger. I made some cloth napkins on the serger using the rolled hem and this 12 wt cotton thread did very well. It being cotton thread should hold up to high heat when ironing the napkins better than woolly nylon thread. Just wish it came on bigger spools.
