Philmore Sanding Tool

Really nice tool to clean rock chips and door dings before using touch up paint. Using this you can get surface rust removed, so your touch up paint will adhere to the metal surface and provide a better, long lasting finish. I can be used multiple times. I have used it on 5 or 6 vehicles and still have plenty left.

Nice little tool. Works great for scratching corrosion of pads and electrical contacts. Nice how it rotates/retracts into the handle for storage

Works great but do not get wet it will degrade the tips. For it to work well use light pressure. Do not try to gouge the dirt out of your paint surface. It will leave a mark.

This sanding pen is great for fine sanding projects, giving you a perfectly smooth result. This sander is perfect for sanding burrs out of precision plastic parts. I use this sander for removing scratches and burrs from plastic gears and rollers in photo processing equipment which can cause paper jams. This tool removes the issues, leaving a clean, smooth surface. It's also great for removing rough edges on 3D printer objects and drone blades. Ive been using these for more than 10 years and will keep doing so. BUY IT.

Right item to sand rust of small items and contact points. Good value.

Pen performs fairly well. Provides the necessary sanding and detailing. Only thing is mine came with only one fiber cartridge instead of two as stated on the packaging.

I've never used a fiberglass pen before but I needed one for both paint chip repair on my car, as well as electronics repair where the boards are damaged. This one is terrific. A little twist, a fiberglass brush comes out, and with a few swipes of the pen rust or corrosion is gone. At this point I'm kicking myself for never having tried this technique, and the Philmore is a terrific product.

What's to say? It's a fiberglass "eraser". It works. Just be sure you use it outdoors where the wind isn't blowing in your face. It creates a fine fiberglass dust as it works, which is dangerous for your lungs. You might want to consider getting a dust mask before you use one of these.
