Easy and nurtitiuos
Very easy to make. Good way to get some fiber. I add three heaping soupspoons of dried kale flakes first, dump the flavor packet’s contents on top of that, add saltless Madras curry powder and stir it up before filling the cup nearly to the brim with boiling water. I stir that thoroughly, which reduces the level, add more to fill it again (to help reconstitute the kale flakes), stir again, cover and let it sit for 6-8 minutes before eating it. It makes for a tasty meal. I just wish they made a lower salt version of their black bean soup too! In fact, with the fake salt available, they could leave salt out entirely as far as I’m concerned. Of course, being retired, I eat it at home. That might not be so appealing to people who take it to their workplaces.

Delicious!
This split pea soup is amazing! The calories are low and it gives an easy 15 grams of protein. It is a perfect meal for me after bariatric surgery. It's a bit pricey for 6 cups of soup, but I love it, so I am willing to buy it.

Pros and Cons
TLDR: It tastes like a classic instant noodle soup with vegetables and a broth tuned to that of a chicken noodle soup (oniony flavor), but it has no salty tang to it like in other more abundant products high in sodium. It tastes good though! Will probably buy again when I run out. The price is a bit high for everyday use for someone with a budget like mine though, so I use it as an occasional snack, but for that purpose at least it's still worth it to me. Also, as some have said before, the fill container is not big enough and it will spill over if left in the original container....And the rest:As someone health-conscious about the kinds of foods I consume (and, yes, a vegan), I find the ingredients pretty satisfactory. Yummy typical instant noodle taste. PLUS I'm not personally fond of (most) super salty foods in general (save french fries and potato chips, can't abandon those), and these taste yummy without that tang - my personal preference. Even if you love salt, not all soups are salty and IF it's not an utter NEED to you in this type of food like it is for me with french fries, I'd still suggest you try it out if you like taking care of your health (or are trying to do a better job at it) or have a need to reduce sodium in your diet. Because... Yummy. For me, these soups are a nostalgia thing, having grown up with Top Ramen and such in elementary school, long before becoming vegan at age 18 (because my family never approved of my innate idea of ethics and would push theirs unto me). And I've never seen vegetable instant noodle products at any local stores. I've always lurked to check... but nope, they only sell the varieties with meat in them (if vegetable versions of those big brands even exist - I only started checking after having heard rumors of it). Glad to have an alternative online that hits that nostalgic note for me, hence why I use this as a treat and not an everyday thing, but as I said, it's worth it to me.And on to the fact that this container isn't big enough... I mean, I figured that on my own from personal experience with instant noodles once seeing how close the fill line is to the rim. I didn't even bother to test that method of cooking it out for myself. It also makes it near impossible to mix the powder mixture into the soup before cooking without it spilling over because of how close to the rim it is. So what I figure is best is to pour the water in to the fill line then pour that into a separate bowl and add the powder mixture AFTER transferring it and mix it in. If you add the powder to the original container and try to transfer to another bowl before mixing it, it will just clump up together and stick to the bottom of the container since it hasn't been mixed yet - which wouldn't be an issue if it wasn't too small of a container in the first place - but in this case it adds time if you go through the hassle of adding more water back into the container to rinse out the rest of the powder.Oh, and on a separate note, I'm positive that reviewer who said their product tasted like spoiled food was somehow mistakenly sent a rotten batch. I certainly didn't have an experience like that at all and it doesn't seem too common by the other reviews seen here.

Inferior to other flavors
It stinks having to adhere to a gluten-free diet. Granted, a good majority of companies these days are selling an amazingly delicious and varied selection of gluten-free foods. It is still difficult at times to find foods that are not only 'safe' to eat, but also tasty. I purchased the Pad Thai Noodle Soup cups as well as the Spring Onion Noodle Soup cups from Dr. McDougall's Right Foods about a month ago and brought both flavors of noodle cups to work. Let's just say that when I open my drawer to grab my lunch for the day, I am let down when I am left with only the Pad Thai flavored cups. The flavor isn't repulsive or anything, it is just 'okay'. It doesn't help that I am always comparing and contrasting the two flavors, as if it were to stand on its own, the Pad Thai flavor wouldn't receive super low marks. Overall, I would suggest that individuals looking for a delicious and filling gluten-free meal purchase the Dr. McDougall's Right Foods Vegan Spring Onion Noodle Soup, 1.9-Ounce Cups (Pack of 6). It is around the same price, and tastes absolutely heavenly. I admittedly still feel badly for being harsh on a gluten-free product... at least items such as these are accessible and reasonably priced for those suffering from gluten-related ailments.

Delicious and Surprisingly Filling
I wasn’t exactly sure what to expect when I placed my initial order for Dr. McDougall's Pad Thai Noodles - Gluten Free and Vegan Ramen Noodles - Instant Ramen Noodle Cups. I was definitely, pleasantly surprised. The broth was yummy (I figured I’d like it! I do add some cayenne for a kick), but the noodles were a lovely surprise. They have a very nice, hearty texture and I feel full/ satisfied when I finish the cup. They are also quite convenient to take to work or anywhere I’m heading that has a microwave. I highly recommend this guilt-free ramen!
