I’ve had this case for over 2 years and never had any issues. It always did what it was supposed to do. I’ve dropped my phone from a few feet here and there at home or out in public onto concrete, hardwood and asphalt and never had a scratch, crack or dent. The case always held up great as well. The reason I’m writing this review is because today I absentmindedly left my phone on top of my car. I pulled out of the driveway and drove over a mile to the main two lane road that’s got a 55mph speed limit. About a mile down the road, I heard a thump on my car as my case flew off above my driver’s side window and hit the back of my car. I then watched in my rear view mirror as I saw my phone tumbling and spinning and hitting the road over and over again, kicking up about 3-4 feet in the air multiple times before coming to a rest near the middle of the road. I turned around thinking the worse. Somehow no other car ran it over and I was able to get to it seeing it face down. The case itself had two large cracks in the corners but was still holding together. The phone itself did not have a single scratch!! Nothing shattered, nothing dented, nothing scratched…NOTHING!! I’m typing on the phone right now with the case as I await two day shipping to bring me another one. Absolutely the best phone case I’ve ever had and that’s including multiple Otter Box cases over the years and expensive ones family has bought me. This one surpasses them all!!

When I was looking for a case for my iPhone 12 Pro in Pacific Blue, I was struck not only by the number of options but also by the uniformity of most of the cases out there. Either you have your beefy but bland otterbox-like cases at around $40 box or basic silicon/polycarbonate cases in the $10 range. When I saw the Sup Case Unicorn Beetle Pro case, it was hard for me to figure out which of those categories it fit into best. Having installed it and use it for the past week, I would put it squarely in the first group in because of its excellent fit, finish and sturdiness but also as a standout because of its style and design. I was first attracted to this case by its striking upscale industrial look. Being a professional, I wanted something that I thought looked good but didn’t want something too “out there” or garish looking. I am pleased to say that the case looks much better IRL than on the website. The metallic elements are realistic and tasteful. At once striking about not over the top. The bevels surrounding the screen on the front and the cameras on the back are robust and offer excellent protection in case of a drop. The one concern I had about the deepness of the bevel on the front was that it could make it difficult to swipe up to get to the home screen. I have not found that to be the case though someone with pudgier fingers may have more of an issue. The outside border of the case is made from a finely textured material that feels high quality and offers excellent grip without slipperiness one might see with cheaper cases. I like the feel of this in my hands more than any other case I have ever had. I do have a larger hand (wear XL or XXL gloves) and this case feels perfect. Someone with smaller hands may have more of an issue with holding the phone comfortably. The cover for the charging port appears sturdy. The slightly raised buttons for volume and power offer excellent tactile feedback without protruding too far. This is much better than cases I have had with flat buttons on the side that lack tactile feedback and make them much more difficult to find and press. Seeing the screen protector on the website, I was concerned that it appeared to be made of a cheap plastic. However, it provides excellent coverage of the screen/integration with the case and there is no discernible effect on screen responsiveness when using it. It also resists smudging as well or better than standard tempered glass protectors I’ve used in the past The kickstand on the back is solid and easy to use. And the belt case that comes with the case is extremely chunky and durable. It lets you attach it to your belt or, because the belt clip covers the screen when attached to the case can offer additional protection if stowing your phone in a bag Or purse. Finally while I’m guessing this case is not compatible with Apples Mag Safe system, it does work with my Tesla induction charger and so Im guessing would work with other induction chargers as well. Overall, I would give this case 5 stars with no significant deficiencies noted. I have been yet to test its ability to protect my phone during a drop and so cannot really comment on the durability or protective ability of the case but will update this post if (or, lets be honest, when) that day eventually comes.

This has been a fantastic case for my phone. I cannot count how many times I have dropped my phone in the last two years and my phone is still functioning perfectly- I love the stand for viewing videos or reels- The paint color has remained bright and chip free as well. I will buy this one again- recently the kicked stand chipped and left a sharp point. It is still functional but I will be looking for an update- highly recommend this case

Great case to protect your phone. Love that the case has a built in screen protector. It is thin and light for a full case. Nice "kick stand," but does not have magsafe. If you don't want magsafe I highly recommend this case.

Bought this for my iPhone 12. Waited for the 14 so the price would drop. Anyway while at a lacrosse game (top of the bleachers) my X fell through the seats on to concrete. It was at least a 12 foot drop. The sound it made caused heads to turn. I was resigned to accepting at least a broken screen... then after retrieving the phone... nothing. Not a scratch. No crack, or malfunction. At. All. I was stunned. That was the SUP case. Granted the X design included no glass back (glass back 🤦🏻 absurd design btw). But I'm convinced the case made the difference. Yes a little bulky, but worth it. By the way I had REMOVED the plastic "built in" screen protector. And only had a glass one. And... That didn't even crack! It was naked. Sort of. Anyway. I love the little rubber (TPU, yes Ik) grippy things. So I went with SUP again. I can do without the kickstand. Not worth the effort. But an acceptable inconvenience. Also I'm typing (swiping actually) this review on the phone. With the case. With the plastic built in protector (haven't removed yet) AND a glass screen protector. Still very responsive. Regarding the wireless charging, i have four types. Two standing and two flat. Only one (a Seneo, 10w) won't work with the case on. The others (10-15w) work. The small flat anker works if positioned just right. So I'm pleased overall. My phone feels secure. That's what it tells me anyway 😉

Very happy with the design and quality of this case. The screen protector is not an adhesive type and is contained in the front cover. Case is not water or dust proof, but offers great protection all round. Case snaps together without issue. Buttons on the case press those on the iPhone easily. No problem with hearing the iPhone speaker. Screen sensitivity with screen protector installed is as good as it is without. I ordered a second.

Ok, first let me start with saying I dont like leaving negative or bad reviews unless its actually needed and im not necessarily trying to be negative about this particular case, as much as im just trying to leave a honest opinion. So here goes .. .. I'm giving this SupCase Unicorn Beetle Pro phone case with built in screen protection 3 star rating across the board. And heres Why.. Because, although the video, descriptions and reviews (All) made this case sound&look extremely durable, as well as a good one to buy my husband in replace of the one thats donw him&his phone justice for the last year now, But I unfortunately had to return this case and reorder the one that better suits my husband's iPhone 12 and his expectations. Reason being is, Yes it's all plastic, and looked like it would hold up to our expectations, and be a durable case that could protect his phone. But it is all plastic and It doesnt have a durable built in screen protector like he was hoping. (Which may be great for others, but not in our case). I picked this case bcus of its 20x drop rate protection, the reviews, and description, including researching&reading a ton of google articles/reviews on what cases offered the best protection for the iPhone 12. This case was in every review I read or researched. So after a couple days of research, I showed him the video listed on Amazon for this case, and explained its drop protection was rated #1 for its over all protection via CNET's #1 pick for being the best over all out of the cases they tested. But upon receiving it & opening it up, my husband immediately said .. "Welp this isn't gonna work for me". I said why? He said "Bcus this is literally just a flimsy piece of plastic that they're calling a built in screen protector.(as he flicked it&said how do they expect this piece of plastic to protect a phone screen at all?); If I were to drop my phone, and it lands on the zero turn riding mower at work face down again, then my actual phone screen won't be nor have any protection whatsoever at all, preventing it from breaking,cracking or heck being shattered&destroyed for that matter. This thin-flimsy, piece of plastic film cover is literally going to be useless in providing my phone screen the protection i was looking for in a case that states it comes with a built in screen protector" and said "I need another case like the one Ive currently have had on it for the last year. Bcus it's done me&my phone much justice through everything its gone through, until recently landing face down on the zero turn mower and hitting a small pebble that caused its actual built in tempered glass screen protector to crack". And said "Please reorder the case I currently have". So..with that being said, I sent this SupCase back for a refund and reordered a diff phone case that actually comes with the built in tempered glass screen protection and fully incases his phone for the all around protection he expected this case would provide. One that it isn't solely made of all plastic like this SupCase is made, bcus the one I reordered is a heavy duty metal case thats taken one heck of a beating and still provided the protection he was looking for and has held up to his expectations thus far. (Again, the SupCase Unicorn Beetle Pro phone case may be everything someone else is looking for when it comes to protecting their phones, as some don't like the metal type of fully incased protection, or even tempered glass screen protectors for that matter. So I'll say this, the SupCase Does look like a nice case, and looks like it very well could be a decently-duriable case, & I chose it due to all the reviews I'd read here on Amazon, all the Google research and review articles I read, including after I read the CNET reviews about it and being they rated it #1 in its 20x drop rate protection. So it may be perfect for others whom don't mind that the screen protector is simply Just a piece of plastic film covering that offers little to no actual screen protection, and isn't a glass type of built in screen protector). But Bcus of that, I'm only rating this with an over all 3 star rating. I really can't rate the touch screen due to not putting his phone in the case to see if the touch screen worked well with the plastic film cover or not, so I'm giving it 3stars too. Bcus I didnt wanna give it just a one star rating in this department, as it may work very well for others and well, bcus we didn't test the touch screen to see if it did or didnt work. So i feel giving this case, the durability, sturdiness, and the touch screen all an over all 3 star rating, suits it better than just giving the case a one or two star over all rating. In my opinion its not a 4 or 5 star case bcus it isnt what we thought itd be and also bcus i dont feel it should have 4 or 5 stars due to the lack of built in screen protection it does come with. And bcus we simply put everything back in its packaging and returned it for a refund and I resorted to reordering a case that's more of a heavy duty metal phone case that comes with an actual built in tempered glass screen protector, with all around incased phone protection. Bcus that type of case has saved his phone and his phone screen from being destroyed literally for the past year that he's had his phone in it. And trust me when I say that case, has took one heck of a beating and his phone has stayed fully protected. The Only reason for reordering a new one now, a year later, was bcus the tempered glass recently cracked due to landing on the large (metal) zero turn riding lawn mower, landing face down on a small pebble hench cracking its tempered glass protector it has in it. So with that said, its a good assumption to say/make; That an all plastic phone case that comes with just a simple, built in flimsy piece of plastic that they claim is durable with a durable built in "screen protector" is going to or that would actually "protect" & save his iPhone 12's phone screen from being shattered, from getting broke if it were to land face down on the metal zero turn riding lawn mower at work, or even landing on a small pebble again, or heck, falling and landing face down in general and not breaking, its probably safe to assume that it's most likely not going to happen nor is it very likely that itll provide/offer the protection he needs especially when it comes to having a durable phone case that fully incases his phone and comes with a built in tempered screen protector like he was hoping this SupCase was going to have and or would provide. Im Not saying this is a bad case or a poor choice for others that are looking for a case of the such. I'm just saying that it honestly doesn't offer a real built in screen protector that'll actually protect your phones screen if it were to drop and land on anything that'd actually break your phone's phone screen if it were to fall/land on anything hard or harmful. What it does come with, is simply just a piece of plastic that honestly reminded me of some sort of flimsy plastic packaging you'd literally toss in the trash after getting out whatever it may be that was inside the package. Im Not trying to necessarily be negative bcus again it may work very well for others and it may provide the protection they're looking for. So what i am saying is .. It just wasn't up to our expectations or what we thought itd be per its description, video and reviews or articles I read 😕 I honestly Hope this review can be helpful to others in some sort of way or another. 🙂
