I bought this as a solution to our sleeping arrangements, my autistic son needs or wants to sleep with either his mum or dad, this means that one of us sleeps with him in the double bed and somebody has to sleep in his kids bed so his sister wont get jealous. Unfortunately, as my ample frame is too long and too wide, and regrettably way too heavy for a kids bed (maximum load 80kg, my weight 95kg), this invariably ends up being my wife who then complains that she has a bad back from this being quite a cramped sleeping arrangement.Having bought this bed as a solution to allow us both to sleep comfortably I am more than happy, this bed is easy to store, easy to set up and easily strong enough to take my weight plus some extra I am sure - climbing on this I have no fear that it will collapse. The mattress provided is also very comfortable, very cozy and warm and thankfully has corner straps to lessen the chances of it coming loose during the night.If there is one thing I would say, the bag provided for storage is a nice idea and really helps with storage, however I would advise the manufacturer that it would be good to incorporate a carrying handle (unless I am using it wrong) to make this a little easier to transport as it is a little too heavy to be trying to carry by manually gripping only the bag. Otherwise, this is perfect for our needs.

I have fumbled and fought with a variety of camp beds in the past: ex army ones; those with springy bits of wire legs; those with small plastic blocks, and, worst of all, those that fold up into themselves at both ends. This camp bed is in a different league: it is wide, comfortable and heavy duty; it opens and closes easily and folds down to a remarkably compact size. I get the feeling that it will last a long time and serve me well.Highly recommended.

I needed it to offer a bed in my toy room to a Xmas visitor. It is easy to put up and looks great but make sure you measure the size of your guest correctly. I am 5'7" and it fits me but if you are longer then... not so much.

I spent 10 hours on a BH to select the best ot (in my price range). Call me super dooper pleased! It arrived within days. Completely durable and well made. Trick is to sit on it to help it to open completely. Being a female, I was worried about the comfort if I slept on my side. As it is a cot, there is taughtness/tension -only a hammock would mold to one's hips. HOWEVER, at no point did I feel uncomfortable. It was wide enough for a female with hips, and long enough with room to grow. Easy to open and easy to close. Comes with carrier bag. Also the mattress I got with it stayed on the cot and NEVER moved! Mattress very soft. The mattress was not very thick, but made the cot comfortable and cuddly. I am going to recommend this to ANY female who wants to sleep comfortably and within a budget. A+++

Have not really used this product in situ so to speak it was ordered for a future camping trip to Silverstone. Have used similar style beds previously and found them a struggle to assemble especially the top and tail bars you usually need two people one to hold the bed and one with a Herculean grip to pull and slot the end bars in place. With this bed you unfold it and push down on the central fulcrum point and the bed locks in place ready to apply the supplied mattress that comes with it. If I was going to be picky I would suggest the mattress could have been a little thicker but I have a spare sleeping bag which I have placed under the mattress and that’s fine. It’s slightly wider than the normal type of beds like this which is a bonus if you are of a larger frame. It comes in a nice storage bag. Not a cheap bed but then if you want sturdiness and quality you have to pay for it.

Very comfortable. Use a PTFE spray on the corners and sleeves to stop the new bed squeaks. If you buy the over mattress it will not fit in the bag so keep the box.

Sturdy but as I’m a big broad shouldered guy could be couple inches wider. Therefore one less star.

This review will be very blunt..The color is decent, i don't care much for it; however the quality appears to be decent. It may not be the best quality on the market but i foresee this investment lasting at least a good year with hard use. I've tried sleeping on it and it's not very comfortable but it will hold your weight and keep you off the ground and fulfill it's purpose. I guess the only thing i believe that could have been done to make this a perfect product is the comfort. For the price you can't complain to much... would recommend for camping
