Strength To Survive

This is a great SOJA album. Some of the songs are mixed to sound like analog, I believe, so you might be surprised by the "sound quality." Its not bad quality at all, it was just made to sound like that. Love this album! Comes with acoustic bonus tracks!

Great album. Listened to by myself along with others I know. It's catchy.

I really enjoy exploring the music of SOJA on this disc.

This is hands down one of the best albums ive ever herd. "Rest Of My Life" from Born In Babylon was My FAVORITE SONG EVER!!!(still an awsome song) Then without hearing or seeing anything from the album, i got an email notice that SOJA put out a new album. I Bought it immediatly. IT WAS AWSOME!!!!!! Then i saw the LATE NITE Vid with BOBBY dressed all hollywood then slingin them dreds like "yall aint ready"!!! SERIOUSLY, this is one of the best bands on the planet and they out did themselves on this album. Sonically and Lyrically OUTSTANDING!!!! SIMPLY OUTSTANDING!!!!!

Another great example of amazon's 3.99 album du jour introducing me to a new group. Now that I've listened to the whole thing a couple of times, I can say that this album is a real treat. These catchy, mellow reggae tunes flow together seamlessly, with nice hooks and riffs to hold your attention. What I especially like about it is that I can have it playing on my headphones in the background while working on the computer, and it provides a pleasant listen without distracting me from what I'm doing; instead it enhances. They have created something special - It' reminds me of UB40-lite, especially before they got overly political. Perhaps you can call it Jack Johnson'y reggae? - especially the delightful bonus acoustic tracks. I gave most of the tracks **** on itunes.

SOJA really did a great job with this one. Anyone who is interested in new progressive movement or dissatisfied with societal trends may connect with the messages in these songs. The music incorporates lots of brass but also electronic sounds, definitely unique.

Die Soldierst of Jah Army werden in der Presse ja oft als Roots-Reggae Band tituliert.Ich denke nicht, dass diese Bezeichnung trifft.Viele Elemente, die sich hier wiederfinden, finden zwar so oder so ähnlich auch ihre Verwendung im Rootsbereich,doch sind die Arrangements der Songs einfach viel zu komplex.Auf 'Strength To Survive' geht es nochmal etwas dichter, runder und arrangierter zu als auf dem Vorgänger, doch wer die vorherigen Platten mochte wird sich auch hier schnell wohlfühlen.Von mir gibt's fünf Sterne, weil es seit langem nicht mehr vorgekommen ist, dass ich im Auto, auf der Anlage zu hause und im mp3 Player die gleiche Platte höre.

für alle die gute und gut gemachte musik mögen, guten reggea, der aber immer noch etwas innovativ und mit einem lächeln daher kommt ... außer gentleman, der jammert halt wie eh und je auf dem letzten track...redundant ...ansonsten lässt sie einen mitgrooven und die jungs bringen uns jedesmal zum tanzen;-)

No conozco el grupo, por tanto no puedo decir mucho. Lo compramos para regalarlo y la entrega fue, como siempre, perfecta.

L ho preso per un regalo ed è stato molto gradito, all interno del cd c'è un librettino con i testi delle canzoni, L ho trovato molto originale
