Excellent mic pickup sensitivity for recording and very balanced volume levels for listening when used with Apple wired 3.5mm earphones.Tested it on default noise cancelling config (didn't install any drivers / software) with MS Teams on Windows 10 while having background chill music tracks running and it impressively managed to filter-out all background audio and kept-in my vocals very crisp.Even rustling noise caused by mic coming into contact with clothing while moving around was removed. All what's left is just clean voice that is usable even in recording tutorials / audio books.The only config I did (which I usually do with any audio setup that involves Apple wired 3.5mm earphones on Windows) is to adjust the sensitivity levels to maximum (100) from Control Panel > Sound > Recording > Microphone -> Properties -> Levels

I have been using the 3.5mm jack for my headset all these years. After prolonged use you get interference and static noise when using discord, teams, skype and so on! For gaming, it became difficult to use a mic that had a soft static sound and background noise from the Laptop Fans and / or ambience.Using the Asus ANC ALL BACKGROUND NOISES have been ELIMINATED. The voice sounds crisp and clear. I Highly recommended this product for all users. No software needed. Just plug in your 3.5 jack and connect via the USB C port on your device. It works brilliantly!

Me gustó, cancela bien el ruido externo, teniendo Alexa con música a una distancia de un metro con volumen alto, no se escuchaba en los audios, conversaciones, gritos externos los eliminó por completo.Lo que no elimina al 100% son los ladridos y los aplausos, si se encuentran a una distancia corta no logra suprimirlos.Aún así vale la pena que lo adquieran. Espero sea útil.

I am able to take meetings in a noisy cafe with fairly loud music playing and my voice comes through clearly! It definitely changes the sound a bit, but there's going to be some quality loss when it's filtering out so much noise. I think if you work remotely and you like working in cafes, this is a must have. I actually went looking for a product like this a couple years ago and it didn't exist yet. Glad it does now!Remember, it only works with headsets with a single 3.5mm jack, not USB headsets. It's working fine in a pretty old version of Ubuntu linux for me. Also, I'm not sure why some people complained about the output audio quality, it sounds better than my laptop's sound card to me.

Since 4 years I have been looking for a solution for calling. TWS was a waste and there were no promising results even when you pay a heavy price. After plenty of research, I purchased this Asus for ₹2600 and it's been an absolute delight to use.I use these with the Moondrop Chu In-ear monitors. The mic on this IEM is very sensitive to the slightest sound. But when paired with the ASUS AI noise cancellation dongle, it turns into a beast of an earphone for calls.Here are a few observations with this dongle.1. The wire felt like the weakest part, so I had it braided to protect it from damage.2. The Noise cancellation is hands down the best for outdoors. It can be used even on a two wheeler, it still sounds crystal clear as long as the mic is close to your mouth. (I had a conversation while riding on an empty road at 80kmph).3. Indoors it's very good unless there are conversations happening immediately next to you. Otherwise it works very well.4. I use it for phone calls and it works perfectly from the time it's plugged into my phone. I didn't have to tweak anything in the settings or download any additional software.5. It can be used with a laptop too, for which there's a USB connector given in the box.Overall I am the happiest using these and have finally found my peace after years of searching for the best calling solution. I'll update this if I observe anything further.
