Handy accessory , quite good to use for anyone.Recommend this for people who look for backup right away.

I know that most hard drivers and USB don’t come as said 100% it will have a little less storage.It’s written on this to be 4TB and thought I would revive 3.9-3.8TB which is 100-200GB less at the max. But to my surprise it’s much less at 3.6TB which is 400GB less!!I don’t know if it’s normally like that but I don’t like or either support this

The product was much lighter than I thought it would weigh. Works well connects easily to my Windows OS lap. The user manual and instructions are in the storage device which I find is better for the environment as well as for the user. The storage of my 2 TB hard disk was however only 1.81TB which I do understand is normal for any storage device to have slight variation in its storage capacity.

Adquirí este disco duro para extender la capcidad de mi PS4, fácil y rápido de configurar. Ahora tengo mucho más espacio para acumular juegos que acabaré borrando porque no tengo tiempo de jugar a RPGs de 90+ horas y luego me sentiré mal por haberlos comprado entrando en una espiral de autodestrucción que me hará arrojar la consola por la ventana para acabar acurrucado en una esquina, llorando y abrazando a mi gato.

UPDATE:Still using this drive and has been reliable and a great buy from Amazon. Recently after receiving a VIP code for a PlayStation 5 I sold my PlayStation 4 and now on the latest gen. I hooked everything up the same but this time you want to plug the Toshiba hard drive to the back of the PlayStation 5 as it has x2 USB 3.0 ports. I’ve copied some games to it and it’s still been fine and have been running PlayStation 4 games on it such as Wolfenstein Alt Collection, Tony Hawks Pro Skater 1 & 2, Serious Sam etc and has worked flawlessly.This drive will also store your PlayStation 5 games on it but won’t be able to run them as it’s not a SSD so not compatible for that but for storage and being able to run those PlayStation 4 Disc and Digital games it’s still a top gem.At the end of the day it’s an external hard drive and like any other 3.0 with a usb they will work for Playstation or Xbox. If they have their own format tool which they do you won’t have any problems. The first thing that comes up once you’ve connected it and powered on the console a message saying “Not Compatable”. Well it actually is it’s just that it’s not formatted and more like it’s been pre formatted to NTFS which is what windows use. Once you have formatted it, it takes literally seconds that’s it.Once you go to your system settings scroll down to Devices, USB Storage Devices, External USB 3.0 Toshiba. There it will ask you to format to an extended storage.Please note, once you have done this the preferred drive will be the external one, I’d suggest to use the internal hard drive for main storage as it will be more cooled from the fan inside the console.If you have say The Last Of Us which is about 50GB move that over to the external drive as there isn’t anymore updates for that game now. While on the subject keep games like Red Dead Redemption 2 on the main drive I only say as with new games your going to get a lot of updates like still Grand Theft Auto 5 and running the external drive constantly with the updates ploughing at it every day or so wouldn’t be good for it.I haven’t tried any of the games running off it yet but from what I read online they run faster apparently.I would recommend a 4TB hard drive as after the format with the systems own volume putting its own data on your left with about 3.5TB

Venditore TABERNACLESHOP.Restituisco l'articolo e dopo 15 giorni mi dicono che non possono effettuare il reso perchè non ho restituito l'articolo originale, bensì quello vecchio.Amazon conferma.Io mi ritrovo senza l'hard disk (tra l'altro usato e difettoso) e senza i soldi del rimborso.No ho modo di riavere quanto speso se non provando a fare denuncia alle autorità preposte.Non me lo sarei mai aspettato da Amazon.

Il prodotto acquistato da Amazon non presenta difetti dopo un mese di utilizzo. Possiede una velocità di scrittura e lettura compresa fra 120 mb/s e 130 mb/s da disco (Toshiba) a disco esterno (usato SSD) (testato su una porta USB 3.0). L'HD possiede una funzione standby che entra in funzione dopo inattività compresa fra 4 min 30secondi e 5 minuti, ipotizzo sia una funzione per proteggerlo da danni fisici e per permettere di far durare l'HD per più tempo prima di rompersi. La memoria effettiva posseduta dal HD è di 3.6 TB. Data la dimensione compatta dal prodotto è probabile sia saldato direttamente alla scheda, il disco interno è un MQ04UBB400 probabilmente possiede 4 piattini da 1TB e una testina PMR (fonte internet). Il disco è silenzioso il rumore è quasi impercettibile e non ha problemi di surriscaldamento (test effettuato al tatto). Il cavo in dotazione sembra di ottima fattura presenza di rinforzi alle estremità. Il prodotto in sé non differisce dalle immagini presenti sul sito della Toshiba, possiede una forma minimalista e non presenta gommini di appoggio (cosa secondo mio giudizio trascurabile essendo un disco speciale da 15 mm è più pesante dei normali HD perciò a me no che non lo fate apposta dubito possa scivolare e cadere). Se vi cade comunque è bello morto XD trattatelo come se fosse il vostro iPhone o smartphone da 1000 €, ringrazio per la vostra pazienza nella lettura di questo papiro.[UPDATE]L'HD dopo 8 mesi funziona in modo egregio, ma ci sono delle note negative che a una prima analisi sfugge.- Il disco tende a riscaldarsi troppo in uso continuativo supera i 40°C fino ad arrivare ai 50°C perciò usatelo dove c'è ventilazione, si percepisce al tatto che scotta.- Le vibrazioni sono davvero rumorose quando si sono consumati 1.5TB di 3.63TB in scrittura, ci sono serie possibilità che il disco non duri a lungo.- La velocità di scrittura da disco a disco stesso tende a 45MB/s fino ad abbassarsi a un minimo di 20MB/s dipende da quanta memoria vi rimane, meno ne avete e più le prestazioni sono peggiori, lo stesso vale per le vibrazioni.- Il sistema di alimentazione è inadeguato, il disco andrebbe abbinato a un USB Y, nei valori SMART potete vedere che il disco tende a ripartire per avere una velocità adeguata.CONSIGLI: Per limitare problema di prestazioni e rumore consiglio di partizionare a metà il disco, consumate la partizione situata in fondo prima e usate la partizione all'inizio per i file o programmi che usate in continuazione così probabilmente vi durerà di più, per i curiosi la cosa a che fare con le velocità angolari del disco in base al raggio; la partizione di inizio parte dal punto più lontano del disco (essendo un disco PMR).
