We love this protect for our almost 2 year old. She takes it twice a day and it helps her so much with her seasonal allergies. Without this product, we can tell a difference. We tried Zyrtec, but it made her so cranky and wild. Super pleased with this product.

We have been using Allegra for our daughter for many years for year round allergies. For her, it works much better than the other brands of childrens allergy medicine. It is non-drowsy and also doesn't cause the opposite. It costs more than the alternatives. This is because the patents on the liquid childrens Allegra haven't expired yet so there aren't any generics available to help bring the price down. This will change in a couple years when the relevant patents expire. If you use Amazon's subscribe and save then you can at least save a little.

Started this a month ago for our 2yr old. He started having behavioral changes a few weeks later. He started becoming very aggressive at daycare to kids/teachers, very emotional, very scared for the slightest noise or movement and wouldn't listen to anything you told him.we immediately stopped after reading a 10 page write up from parents complaining of same problems. I immediately stopped it and within 4 days he has completely changed back to his normal self.

I'm an adult and take the children's dose of antihistamines because I can't tolerate the adult strength. Although I do like Allegra, and it is effective, it makes me drowsy. I find when I take it, I yawn a lot, even at the half adult dose. I Can't say I like the flavor- Claritin has a better flavor, but this does work to control my indoor allergies. Just wish it was non-drowsy for me. It is a pita to be yawning all the time.
