Variation on a theme
Not quite as dynamic as the the original Cut Up book by this author, but still has interesting ideas. I will look to it for inspiration for greeting cards and scrapbook pages.

I wanted the cover especially, for a project, but it was not included. Everything in the book is beautiful.

Worth the price
This is an excellent book full of clever ideas. I won't be able to bring myself to cut it up though and will use it mainly as a template for my own creations

Not as good, but still inspiring
Emily Hogarth's follow up concentrates on special occasions and there are certainly some lovely ideas. Indeed, the pages showing several designs together decorating a room are my favourites, showing how versatile a craft papercutting can be. There are of course some beautiful designs and variations, but I just feel I will end up making few of them. Paper hairbands anyone? The cards and window decorations are beautiful, and she provides a useful if small seasonal motive library, but some designs feel try-hard: how long will moustaches on sticks be in, and others seem unnecessary such as food flags. Still a beautiful book and some designs I will soon use, but it's better to inspire your own creations than as a book to copy all of hers.
