Wow, what a great book.
This was a great book. It proves how taking the path less traveled can end up being the most rewarding path there is. I think more wrestlers from their era should take a swing at writing a book. There were so many aspects of the current indie wrestling scene in the book that have never been documented before like this. It also left some room for a book in the future. I did also enjoy Matt’s openness about his faith. Growing up in a Christian household, that made him more relatable to me.My one gripe was that they did come off a little egotistical at times. Don’t get me wrong, what they were saying was true, but it seemed a little excessive. I would have liked to see a more modest approach to some of their opinions on themselves. But honestly, not a big deal for me. I still really enjoyed it. I highly recommend the book!

Wasn't a fan prior to buying this book.... Even less so after.
Fairly well written, albeit they make some ridiculous statements & claims that had me shaking my head. Hogan's autobiography seemed humble compared to the Bucks. These guys are big fish in their small niche pond, & let the reader know this pretty much every page. Their fans will explode all over it, but realistically it came off as two guys jerking each off for 200+ pages. It got really tedious, quickly. Meh.

Thank you Bucks
Pre-ordered on amazon months and months ago, and, it's bittersweet that the time has come. I was so excited to read it, but, i'm sad that I finished so fast. This was truly an awesome account of how you guys started from the bottom and now you're here lol. All jokes aside, awesome book and a great read. Very inspirational as well. Especially since i'm a fan and have suffered from ADHD/ anxiety and depression, watching BTE every Monday is a constant and has helped me more than you will ever know! Same with this book! I wish nothing but the best for both you and your families!

A well paced read for fans and non fans alike!
I’m personally a big fan of autobiographies and it’s consistently the majority of non-fiction that I read. As with any star’s biography, you have the un-enviable task of making something that appeals to those who are extremely invested in you, and those who may randomly open your book.I can say after finishing this story, that it walks this tight rope expertly. It does a great job at explaining concepts, wrestling lingo, and maneuvers a casual reader would not likely know, while also not getting mired in that minutia to bore a more ardent fan.The authors do a great job at taking you through the ups and downs of their journey. Hearing stories of their childhood, early career struggles, and eventually becoming fathers feels relatable and heartwarming. This book is one I will easily pass on to a friend or family member to enjoy. However, not until I finish reading it a second time.

Tag team wrestling at its best
I preordered the book and it came in, waiting for me when I got home from work. I was hesitant to getting it at first but decided for it when ordering another wrestling book (Penny Days). I got this book first. The inside front and end flaps are filled with incredible pictures of wrestling moves, the colored pics in the middle detail their childhood as well as pics of the bucks with former wrestling greats. While they were born in the mid 1980s, it definitely is a book of a fans journey loving the sport, it’s history, and part of its future. Already a few pages in and I am enjoying it. Thanks guys, you made me appreciate you and tag team wrestling even more (and I have been watching it since The Andre the Giant vs Blackjack Mulligan days).
