Ok
Great to give someone an introduction to Sherlock Holmes, however not comprehensive enough for me personally.

There are definitely worse ways to spend a penny.
Arrived a full week before the expected delivery date and in great condition. Have not as yet been able to sink myself into what is sure to be a wonderful collection of stories, however I was most satisfied with how the the end product was represented in the online description.

An adequate edition of the "Sherlock Holmes" movie script!
I suspect that because SHERLOCK HOLMES AND THE SECRET WEAPON (1942) is now in the "Public Domain," it was easier than it has been to obtain a copy of the script from the Universal vaults - possibly from a "Holmes" scholar or a collector - who had a copy of it! I would have liked to have known if it was a "final script" (which it seems to be), or if any final changes had to be made to the screenplay before shooting. I wouldn't have minded a copy of the Sir Arthur Conan Doyle story the script is slightly based on (the "Dancing Men" code) or what was going on in America and the world at the time - during this early period of America entering WWII. Biographical information on the actors, technicians and info. on the studio would have been great, too!Maybe we old-movie fans have been spoiled by some of the Universal scripts that have been published over the years on their classic horror films of the '30s and '40s, which DO have a lot of information that this particular published script does not. For the fans of Sherlock Holmes, this is a nice thing to have, but it would have been much better to have more than just the script!
