Handy organizer
I've had this item a few weeks now, and it's still taking some getting used to! My hubby mentioned to me the other night that he was searching the cupboard for 5 minutes, before remembering that I moved everything around (again hah)So here's my experience. The build is great, and nothing was wrong with it. I buy a variety of spice bottles from different companies. Currently as you can see I have Great Value (Wal Mart), Club House and Mrs. Dash. Originally I had wanted this spice rack to be in my top drawer. But because my countertop (laminate btw) has a large "lip" underneath where the drawer stops, the bottles just can't fit. Bummer! I was so bummed!I was really determined to have this, so I tried the second drawer. My second drawer has 5" inches of clearance. Here's how the measurements stack up:■ Great Value & Club House spice bottles need 4 ½" inches at minimum; I would suggest 5" inches.■ Mrs. Dash spice bottles need 4" inches at minimum; I would suggest 4 ½" inches. For reference, the Mrs. Dash spice bottle is 1 ¾" inches wide. If you have smaller bottles, then you wouldn't need as much clearance. How much less, I'm not sure hah but hopefully this gives you all an idea before you buy!

Not sturdy, loose and wobbly. Disappointing.
Purchased 2 of the expandable version. Not as sturdy as hoped and does not look like the illustration. When looking at shelf head on, the bamboo right front is only 1/4" high and does not reach the cupboard shelf. The entire expandable end is loose and wobbly. There is no hint of how to use the extra piece in both boxes; although I'm sure they have a purpose, I can't find any way for them to attach or fit. I'm sure I'm missing something here. Very disappointed. Unfortunately they were opened too late to be returned. For me, a complete waste of moneyPurchased a better, sturdier unit which expands to longer length for a lower price at Walmart.NOT recommended.

Well made but limited usable space.
I’ve have this unit for about 6 months. It is sturdy as others have mentioned. Having it ‘lying’ in a drawer instead of standing in a cupboard took some getting used to but I like that I just glance down and see all of my spices. The 2 drawbacks for me are: - First, the lack of space -room for 9 spices isn’t enough for me.... The second issue is the wasted space on each row. Each row holds 3 3/4 bottles- I have tried various styles other than just my own squared edge classics, and there is always wasted space but not enough for the other bottle. Look closely at the product pictures & you’ll see what I mean. I may buy a second one but I really wish there were size options. Having said all that, I would recommend it.

spice rack space saver
I wanted to clear my counters of clutter and looked into spice racks and came across this one, which was perfect.it takes the spice rack ( clutter ) off my counter top and into a drawers where its hidden and out of light too. goes perfect with the bamboo utensils organizer both fit into the same drawer.
