Functional but you should know how limited before you buy
These are definitely not the sturdiest things in the world, but once they’re put together they’re functional and sturdy enough for their purpose. I can’t attest to how long they’ll hold up since I bought them so recently, but I missed a limitation of them: they fit low profile shoes (even ankle boots are too high- though if you have small feet they can fit in one like you’d situate in a shoebox- I’d say this isn’t possible over an 8 or so) and up to a 9mens/11womens. Anything over that is a real challenge to the point where the annoyance over cramming them in and pulling them out is too great a hassle for me, so my husbands shoes are still out and about (size 13). If you have very low profile shoes, like addidas court sneakers, you can fit two pairs stacked on one another in the same box, at the sizes I indicated above.

I wish they had been better quality
When we received the package, my kids and I were very excited to get it promptly and to see how easy it was to assemble. Before we finished 4 doors out of the 12 were already broken. We didn’t pay much mind to it and kept it as an accent 8 regular bins and 4 without doors.Over the course of the day, anytime that one would fall off of the stack the cheap plastic sides would break. They do have little “interlocking pegs” however these are close to useless as they are so small. The advertisement says you can tilt it 45 degrees, be my guest and try it. The tower will collapse and cause more to break, we tried it!So disappointed at how overpriced this pile of plastic was for how useless it turned out to be.Worse part is I threw away some of the parts so refund is no longer and option…. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND BUY A DIFFERENT BEAND OR MODEL!!!It’s very sad because I think they look beautiful 😻 and I honestly wanted them to be good quality, hence the reason I tried to work through the broken doors on arrival and breaking plastic upon falling. Now I have a set of 6/12 boxes and only 3 of these have doors.

Sturdy , nice looking but not easy to assemble.
I like these cubes, they are sturdy enough. My only complaint was the assembly. It was complicated to figure out how to assemble them , once I figured it out why they weren’t locking it was easy. I figured out that The tabs have to be the exact size on each end to lock. The majority of mine were off by .1 millimeter on one end causing one side to lock but not the other. Once I cut that .1 millimeter the problem was solved. I was ready to send them back but glad we figured that out, It’s a manufacturer problem.

Inexpensive, and the quality shows.
The plan was to use these for collectibles, like the Stitch line shown. However, the plastic for the walls is flimsy, and it barely locks into place in the plastic end frames. There are no supports, and they cave inwards. Stitch’s tail and nose are smashed, and the boxes aren’t tall enough for his ears. Plus, the plastic is cloudy instead of crystal clear, like acrylic. If I were using these for shoes, they would need to be on a solid surface, and not stacked very high. They aren’t tall enough for heels, boots, or high tops. They would be good for kid’s shoes.Overall, I’m not a fan.

Don’t forget an important step
Was easy to build, but really flimsy at first. I followed the directions, but stacking the boxes wasn’t that great. It doesn’t say in the instructions, but I removed the four holes on the ends of the plastic. Once you add the lids, it’s easier for the boxes to “grab” each other when stacked.Remember to keep the protrusions of the front and back lids on a single side.

they get the job done
the plastic isn't that hard compared to the others I've purchased but they get the job done.

Shoe Storage Box
I used to store all my sneakers and shoes in the original cardboard boxes, but I wanted something neater. These shoe storage boxes are good. They are easy to assemble and sturdy once you follow the directions that came in the box. I also watched the video on amazon.
