Bought this for use with Nintendo Switch
Instructions for making this work with Nintendo Switch:1 - Go to Settings, Controllers and Sensors, Pro Controller Wired Communication = On2 - Plug controller in to dock3 - Change grip/order of controllersThis still didn't work for me, so then I had to do a 'proper' restart:4 - Hold down console power button for several seconds and choose restart. The controller itself is very well made, with a good feel to the buttons and D-Pad (I always used to avoid 3rd party controllers back in the day as they tended to be poor quality, but this feels as good as a genuine one).

Works well!
I had to add a keybinder programe to be able to use this for what I wanted, but that was very simple to add. I'm now playing the fan made pokemon games with ease-long nails and laptop keyboard controls don't play well! lol!Feels nice to hold and use, buttons are firm, not spongy, nice and light. Can't think of any downsides tbh!

Almost as good as the Nintendo originals
I purchased a couple of these controllers for my MiSTer after trying them at The Retro Collective's RMC Museum (yep, RMC of YouTube fame) as Neil had a couple of them attached to some of his MiSTers. The look and feel is very close to a Nintendo SNES or Super Famicom controller. The controller supports standard USB D-input or X-Input and it can be changed when the controller is plugged in (X-input is default, hold down Y and plug the controller in to switch it to D-input, or hold down X and plug the controller in to switch to X-Input, once it's set it is set until it's changed). There's also a turbo fire function, hold down the L button, SELECT button and either the A, B, X or Y button to turn on the turbo function (or do the same again to turn it off, or unplug the controller). For the money I can't fault them. I've tried other SNES style USB controllers which were fairly poor but these are pretty good and work with all the MiSTer cores which support USB controllers.

Dpad lottery
Ive had 4 Retoflag SNES controllers in total from 3 different suppliers. 2 Upads and 2Jpads. The first Jpad i purchase was perfect (The Upad was not) so i bought another Jpad and this time around its the worst of the 4 i own.The build quality on all of them is superb, pretty much the build and thought gone into all retroflag stuff ive comes across is superb. The issue though like so many retropads is the Dpad. The first Jpad i have is perfect (bought that near when they were released) This one though is far from perfect, it feels the same, looks the same, but no way does it perform the same. The buttons are fine, but the dpad it is neigh on impossible to hit up, down, left or right accurately, more often or not you end up hitting diagonal. Now you may think i have a faulty one, but from owning 4 i know how well the dpad works varies pad to pad. Im actually expecting comments along this line, but.....Ive got one perfect Jpad, (functions as good as an original SNES controller)One horrid Jpad (worst of the bunch Jpad IE this purchase can not hit up, down, left or right hardly ever clean and straight)One functioning ok Upad (you might hit the odd diagonal in frantic play, other than that its fine). And the last, another Upad which again has a clear diagonal input issue (not as bad as this Jpad, up, down you can 9/10 times hit clean and fine, but left and right you end up hitting up/left up/right etc diagonal)I can thus only conclude the functionality varies unless they all have some kind of fault?????I personally think its down to small differences in the ball size/height on the bottom internal of the Dpad or the amount of carbon on the contact of the circuit board as if you look at them all internally that is all what appears to be very very very {you need to look darn close side by side} slightly different/varying.The build quality of them is superb, the plastic feels so much better than the 2 for £10 or similar price Snes knock off pads you can get on Amazon and elsewhere, the weight is very similar to an original SNES controller (again it feels better quality than the cheaper alternatives) Function wise the buttons are also superb. The inconsistent Dpad experience though kinda ruins things. For me the ultimate retro non-bulky controller hunt will continue, these are good if you get a good one but you may have to buy a few to get a dpad perfect one. I do not think its a fault per say but just manufacturing and slight variance in it.PS if you are thinking of buying a retroflag case then do it, they have no issues IMO and are well worth every penny.

Best retro SNES usb controller
Late birthday present for me, but it was well worth the wait during this COVID19 pandemic. Well done to the delivery driver who stuck by the rules, packaging was well done, box was perfect and installation was rad! Literally a ‘plug and play’ item, especially using it on the Nintendo switch and a PC SNES emulator. If you are a retro gaming, this is defiantly the controller for you! 5/5!

Brilliant Retro Controller
I've been using this with RetroPie on a system I've just put together. The quality is excellent and the buttons responsive. Perfect for retro-gaming.I decided to buy this controller, despite it being more expensive than some other controller clones, because of the high quality of the other items I've bought that were made by Retroflag.I'm really happy with my purchase. Recommended.

Waste of money
I tried every method to sync with my Switch but to no avail. I've concluded it faulty and requested a refund. I won't waste my time with this brand again.

Just as you remembered
Fantastic build quality, and feels just like a SNES controller should. If you're looking for a third party controller, look no further than RetroFlag. Can't recommend this product enough.

SNES replica 100%
I was looking for something really close to the original. Didn't want those modern bluetooth controllers because they're kinda bulky and heavy. This hits the spot for that SNES retro gaming itch. Works well with Mac too! Great buy!

Solid SNES-clone, better than iBuffalo? It depends...
The iBuffalo classic has been my go-to gamepad for SNES games for years now. They are solid, well-built, have a nice feel to the buttons and d-pad, and work well with most games and emulators. I came across this guy, and when I saw the concave Y+X buttons, font, and colors like the OG NA SNES controller I grew up with, I knew it had to be mine. This is a great controller. The buttons and d-pad are solid, it has a good weight and material feel, and the looks are spot on. Besides that, it has both xinput and dinput modes and is automatically recognized and mapped correctly in more games and emulators than the iBuffalo (and the layout is a little more intuitive than say the Retrobit Genesis controllers which also support xinput and dinput). Is it better? That depends. the iBuffalo's buttons have a much lighter press, almost too light (I've had them for years though, maybe they are just broken-in?). But, for my little arthritis hands, I do find it somewhat more comfortable for longer play sessions. But, the retroflag's buttons do feel a little more solid and direct (dare I say more accurate to the original), but they do require a little more force to actuate. Honestly, you can't go wrong with either controller. If you want a bit lighter touch, the iBuffalo may be the better option. But, if you want incredible out-of-the-box plug-n-play game compatibility, the aesthetics of the North American SNES controller, and a bit heavier press, you can't go wrong with the Retroflag.

super qualitatif
acheter pour une recalbox , il faut la plugger tout en maintenant la touche b pour passer en D-input sur une raspy sinon elle est reconnu en manette xbox !aspect et conception supérieure aux "low cost" chinoises , aussi bonne qu'une originale !
