These were perfect for my project. I appreciated the eye crews being included and the pre drilled holes for the eye screws.

Made Christmas ornaments with them

I am making ornaments out of these. They are nice. Clean, durable and the tiny screws and twine were included.

Pleased with the quality of wood slices but missing the eye hooks as pictured. It's a simple thing but an intregal part if you wish to tie a ribbon or jute robe to hang... Now I need to go out and find smaller eye hooks myself to get what I wanted.

When this product arrived, the various pieces seemed great. I got to work making Christmas ornaments for family and friends. I used napkins with different holiday images and mod podge - matte finish. When the ornaments were complete, they looked amazing! I loved them, and so did everyone else. But after about a day, cracks started randomly appearing (see pics). My brother in law said that maybe these were dried too quickly at the factory and when I added moisture to them it was like pouring cold water on hot glass - cracks were inevitable. He tried to console me, saying the cracks gave the ornaments character. I didn't think so, since the cracks just keep getting bigger and bigger, starting at the outer edge and stretching to the center of the effected ornaments, there was no way to stop it from happening. I loved these, but wish the cracks would just stop already. I feel that if these wouldn't crack 90% of the time, the price would have been perfect and definitely a value for my money.

Great product for what I need

Decent quality, but the hooks that were sent with them were basically impossible to screw into them. I had to drill small holes in the top instead.

These are sufficient for crafts and gifts etc. I ordered them as a replacement to another product that was out of stock. They were ok in comparison but noticeably lower quality in their uniqueness and weight. They feel very thin, lightweight and more fragile than the usual slices I buy. On a positive note they are much more uniform in size and shape so if you are looking for consistency these are great. I live in a very dry climate so more than half of these split within a few days of arriving, you may want to use them quickly or oil them if you can and if you are not in a humid area.

I was so excited to make Christmas ornaments with these. And when they worked they were super cute except a third of them split. Either randomly, fromThe eye hook or a heat transfer. The add said the holes were pre drilled and they’re not and the slices split easily where they’re added and sometimes hours later so unfortunately I had already given some away.Be aware to assemble ahead of time to see if they split on you and do NOT use with HTV (heat transfer vinyl).

I was happy to find larger wood slices without predrilled holes so that I could make coasters or drill holes to make ornaments. However, of the 20 received, 10 of them are cracked and I was very disappointed. I have purchased other wood slices on Amazon in the past and usually I expect a few slices to be cracked. However, half of my order being cracked is unacceptable. I needed these to fulfill Christmas orders and they will be late now. I will have to return them and purchase from another vendor.

As soon as I heated one of these it cracked. So the next one I didn't heat but when I applied Modge Podge to it, it cracked! Also most of them were stained or marked and not usable. I won't buy these again.

Was so sorry that this all completely split up after putting in the eye hooks provided and painting them. My little girl was heartbroken

Nice wood rounds that have good bark on them. They are sanded and clean and only needed a very light sanding before we painted them.
