It looks even better than on the pictures. Red wood (that happens to match perfectly with the wood used in some apartment buildings). The edges are rounded and I have never had any discomfort using it.

A quality product with a pleasing satin finish and some tweaks to make sure it will last for many years. It is neither too short nor too long and the subtle curvature means the shoe slips on without effort. Definitely recommended!

There are others shoehorns on Amazon costing 20 to 30 dollar or more. Yeah, sure they are more fancy. But this is what you're looking for if you just need nice durable, simple shoe horn to put you shoes on every morning like I do. It's well built, nice and simple looking. There, you don't need anything else. 4 bucks?, can't beat that.
