Sumptuous photos , great stories, but ..
Lovely book with tales of Sardinia with recipes . Photography sumptuous. Lost a star as recipes not all been proof read - made the yoghurt cake ( pg 46 )and method did not include the 3 pots of flour . As an experienced home cook I managed to add at right time and cake delicious but a bit unnerving for newer cooks. Hope this omission a one off and no errors in other recipes. And so sad to read the pair have split up . But if you love Sardinia it is a lovely book . Being married myself to an Italian I am still laughing at the account of English gravy. Very accurate

Refreshingly Charming & Informative Book.
What a really delightful and informative book. I thoroughly enjoyed reading it. I particularly liked the fact that the recipes were easy to follow and did not require you to either have a huge and exotic range of stores in your larder, or go in search of far flung ingredients around the shops. Most of the requirements are readily available in any reasonably stocked store cupboard. Such a pleasant change. I would happily recommend this book to both confident cooks and keen beginners.

The best Mediterranean cookery book I have ever used
I have been cooking Italian and other Mediterranean dishes for decades.Quite simply, out of probably 50 books on the topic which I own and use, this is the best. The very best. The recipes are totally authentic to Sardinian cuisine, characteristically tasty and pretty easy to execute. Her instinct for taste and texture is out if this world. Please write one for Sicily...and Corsica....and Crete...and.....

Charming book, excellent recipes
Delighted with this new edition to my shortlist of favourite cookbooks. There hasn’t been a single recipe we haven’t enjoyed. Letitia successfully conveys the feel of Sardinia in her writing - along with a healthy dollop of humour and respect for the island and its people.(She has also created a fun range of food pun artwork, ideal for the kitchen - Tomatoes on the Wine, Piano Tuna, Queue Cumbers etc. which is how we first discovered her.)
