If you don't want to read this huge long review then at least scroll down to where you see **********So I want to just start off by saying that I would probably rate this product 3 or possibly 4 stars but I know that people often don't even bother looking at reviews that aren't 5 stars ( I know because this often tends to happen to me, I don't want to read a bad review especially on products that have so many good ones)As far as the actual notebook the look is not what you would expect. I bought this notebook because it looked like it had "sparkles" on it now this is going to be really hard to describe if you haven't seen the product in person but basically it's like if you had an image of white and blue marble swirls and you added little white and tan dots and then blurred those dots to make it look like it was gold with a shine (the shine part being the white dots) This effect is especially noticeable on the top of the notebook. It looks like just really poor photo quality.It might also look exactly like if you were to take the picture of the product and paste it onto a notebook. Above I included a close-up of the journal and that is what the notebook looks like. The photo i took (although not the best quality) was not shakey. It's honestly not the worst thing and you get used to it after a little bit but disappointing and misleading non the less. Although I have to say I still find this notebook very beautiful.The word "notebook" is metallic and shiny ( note that it does not have many sparkles in it just the whole thing is metallic paint )The notebook itself is not very sturdy since the cover and pages can move around the spine even when the notebook is closed if you don't use the elastic band. I like the metalic spiral spine and a back pocket that says "today is the new begining" although the pocket is mostly just a cardstock print glued onto the back cover so it can't hold very much.I like the color of the pages they are a nice white. The pages are thick enough to not be any issue writing with a pen but if you are writing with markers it ghost for sure and if it is a wetter marker it will bleed. Don't get this product if you want to watercolor in it or color in it. I haven't had pages ripping out be any issue for me. The other annoying thing is that when you close the book the part of the pages near the spine will sometimes fold in and create tiny inward creases creating placeholders I didn't want.The inside pages are smaller than the actual cover because they are about a millimeter shorter in width and are not rounded which is just a small complaint but I would have liked it more if they were.All and all it's pretty standard especially for the price that it is at.*******************Here's my biggest issue with this though, a card came with the notebook telling me to email them to get free fine liner pens. I emailed the source and got this message back:"Hi, friend! Congratulations! Thank you so much for your review!Note: Pls do not mention or show the card in your review pic, thanks."Sorry, but you can't buy my customer satisfaction. I'm sure that many of the 5 star reviews on here are from people who have gotten this message. And I'm not blaming them! I mean who doesn't want free pens! But it makes me wary because I rely on reviews to make purchases. Anyway, it's up to you to decide if you want this notebook if non of this stuff bothers you but I just wanted to make everyone aware of what is going on here.

Great notebook. Looks very stylish. I am using it as a prayer notebook. The cord makes it easy to find what page I am on and the pocket is great to store index cards, stickers, and notes in as well.

It's a pretty journal it's very sturdy not easy to tear up the paper in the journal is not very thin and it's good to write on. Very nice product Wood buy it again

The size of this daily recorder makes it easy to use. It fits into my bedside table, has room for my daily memories, and includes an elastic book mark to keep my place, making it handy to turn right to the next page. The cover is attractive and the cost was minimal.

This was the perfect size! I love the colors and pages easy to turn.

I use these journals to take notes in my classes. The paper is the perfect thickness. They are easy to store . They are very attractive and look great in my bookcase. I have ordered several times and will order again.
