Manufacturing quality not good
Stitching on retainer strap came loose after second use. Works fine otherwise.

Almost satisfied...
I am basing this review on the second time purchase of this product. The first one I got had only the elastic on the bottom so it is wearing out as I can see it starting to rip at the seam. Also the elastic on the part that you snap to your shoelace is halfway ripped. So durability is NOT GOOD. I decided to get another one for my trip and I was pleasantly surprised to receive this one with rubber guards on the elastic that goes underneath the shoe. I am sure that will help with that flaw. Good to see the manufacturers are listening to the reviews because it is a good product and works well as does not interfere or distract when shifting. As for the elastic on the shoelace attachment, they need to make this better. So kudos for improving some of the issues.

Best one so far
After the last one of a different brand just went to hell in month, I needed one without Velcro. This one seems to be much better. The strap around the toe is a solid elastic band, which may mean it will be more durable. The one thing I didn’t like was the shoe string attachment. What do you do if your shoes are slip on without strings? The other shoe protector I had had a ankle strap to hold it onto the shoe. I just took that and attached it to the shoe string clip. Now it works and stays in place. You could use a large rubber band for this.
