What's the seat height range?

Hello, this is Kent with Strider Bikes. The seat height range on the Strider 12 Classic is 11" to 16". An optional XL Seatpost and Saddle extends from 15" to 19". The Strider 12 Sport model includes this XL Seat post and Saddle. Typical age range for the Classic would be 18 months to 3 years old :)

what kind of packaging does this come in.  Is it descrete packing.

The packaging is not discreet. A label is put on the Strider box that has images of the bike. If you check off "this is a gift" at checkout though, the Strider box will be nested into a plain brown box that is discreet.

What are the tires made out of? Would this be good for grass or dirt?

These bikes can go anywhere!  My kid started with the smaller bike with 3 wheels & those tires are a very hard rubber, non-slip, non-puncture & he went anywhere: rocks, dirt, concrete, the house... he never had an issue. I LOVED the 3 wheel bike because The wheels were built to be tightened just like skates at the rink: meaning if you wanted the child to go slower, then you make them more snug; if you’re ok with your kid going faster, then you just loosen it up. These things are resilient & a brilliant design, he has rode his so many hours & it still looks new & we’ve had no problems at all.  
    Now, I have moved him up to this particularly bike & the tires are a little different than the level 1 with 3 tires.  I will say I prefer the tires on the stage 1, because they are non-slip. These tires are hard, but they wear down like a normal bike would. The stage 1 was not capable of being worn flat, as they were already like that & of a better rubber material. So now, where my son used to be able to ride in the house, where the tire has went flat in the center of the wheel, it causes some sliding & falling like on ice.  But it is a good design, made to mock more of a real tire with the grooves & such.  Just be aware that the tires will wear down over time & not work so great on some surfaces. It’s not slowed my son down any. But my only issue is that I can not find replacement tires for this bike. The company claims to not have them available.   
    The bottom line is these are wonderful bikes! The more you progress, the more the wheels will look like a real bike wheel. They say they’re puncture proof & so far it’s legit.  I highly recommend. Get it when they’re young! They’re going to love it & have such great control.  It’s the best buy I have made for my son so far. He’s 3 1/2.  He was balancing with his feet up within only a couple weeks. I hope u have the same luck as we did.

Does this Classic version have a lever to quickly adjust the seat up and down?
