Good Desktop Helper!
So I needed an adapter to replace the individual readers and hub that I was using beforehand. Since I wanted to use this with a desktop, I needed the longest cable that I could find. Found this product and decided to use it.Since I use this mainly on a desktop, the display output or external power features were useless to me. However, the rest proved to be lifesavers for my work flow. Plugging in only this device would give me a USB 3.0 Card Reader, 2 USB 3.0 type A ports, 1 USB 3.1 Type-C, and an Audio out. This one device replaced the 3 other USB devices that I was using beforehand. So long as you have at least one Rear USB 3.1 Type-C Header on your motherboard, you should be fine.Tested it on both Linux and Windows. Both work out of the box. What surprised me the most was the audio output. My motherboard audio died, so this was a good stand in until I could get an DAC/AMP. Though, I really don't know if I should get one anyway. The AMP built-in is loud enough for my use case. Is it comparable to a good dedicated DAC/AMP? Not really, but I use linux, so I really don't have the best of luck when it comes to compatibility for audio amplifiers. If you have alright headphones and the audio died on your computer, this is a good replacement to have.Again, I cannot test extra power delivery or HDMI output as they are useless features for a desktop setup. Besides, I don't think its a good idea to feed additional power through the hub as it seems to work fine with my motherboard.Other than that, I would highly recommend for desktop use. The length is perfect for that. If you have a laptop, be sure that you would need the actual length of the cable. Otherwise you will have a long coil sitting on your desk.

Lightweight, does the job
I got this as a permanent desktop hub to connect a tablet to an external monitor. The long cord is key so I don't have to move stuff around when I disconnect/reconnect the tablet on a monitor-height stand or a shorter easel for drawing. It worked perfectly as soon as I plugged it in, so very satisfied on that front! It's much smaller & lighter than I thought it would be, which isn't a bad thing but I had to adhesive tape it to the desktop so it wouldn't move around. I like that all the ports are on the front & sides so it's well-configured to be set up out of the way.

Everything worked fine except the audio jack and HDMI
Update: Customer service team reached out and re-sent me a new unit, which now works properly. Overall satisfied as long as it continues to work.I bought this to minimize the number of cables sticking into my 2019 16 In. Macbook pro, and while it has allowed me to connect my charger and mouse to the hub, the HDMI and audio jack does not work on it (HDMI worked for 3 days then suddenly no longer had any signal, audio never worked), so I still have to connect my HDMI cable from my monitor to the laptop and have my earphones stuck in it too... This totally defeated the purpose of this purchase. I have reached out to the company a couple weeks ago, but they have yet to get back to me.

Works as Advertised, With a Caveat
So this dock is sleek. Very thin and sharp looking. No doubt a well designed piece. Everything works as advertised with it (using it now via an external, monitor, keyboard and mouse. The one issue I have is the headphone jack. It transmittes a lot of white noise. While you have any music/podcast/game running it's completely fine. But the second any audio stops, it's immediately annoying. This is my first USB C dock so I'm not sure if it's related to the product or just the hardware in general. I'm using a Thunderbolt 3 USB C port as well. For the casual user, this would be fine. But I'll likely end up returning this because that white noise is unacceptable for someone that spends a good amount of time on there computer.

Issues
At first it was exactly what I was looking for. Little did I know that this p.o.c. would stop working every 20 mins after the computer is put to sleep. So when you wake your computer you have to unplug it and plug it back in. Will be looking for a replacement. Very unfortunate, do not waste your money.
