Tourna Ballport Deluxe Tennis Ball Hopper with Wheels - Holds 80 Balls

Bought this product thinking it would be a cheap version of what my tennis coach uses. In fact, it is better than my coach's hopper so he's pretty impressed.

Very convenient how well this doubles up as a tennis ball basket and a ball pick-up, doing the collection job quite well.If the handles/stand had some durable but relatively comfortable material sleeve, it would be a welcome additional feature. It would be easier on the hands as the pick up basket gets heavier, and when using as a stand, would protect the paint on the metal.

I had a metal one and that rusted and was heavy.I bought this one due to the design and wheels which make it easier to carry or rather drag to the courts. Perfect for my kids' tennis lessons!The good:1) It doesn't take long to assemble although the manual is a bit lacking. But it's easy to snap them together and then tighten with the screws.2) the handles are a nice height for dragging and once folded down as a stand. quite stable too.The bad:1) The plastic material is quite soft and the self-taping screws are a bit short, so don't tighten too much or you will strip the plastic. In any case these self-taping screws are not great for such soft material, and over-time it will loosen and will never tighten properly again. Always the case with soft plastics. So I changed them to stainless steel M4 & M5 machine screws (the M4x22 screws I used a bit too long since that's I have on hand).Overall, very happy with the purchase.

I use this with friends to improve each others game with casual practice and love it!! The multi function in picking balls up and using as a stand is super useful and I would highly recommend getting the ones with the wheels attached as it makes it so much easier to pull around.
