There is a variety and the recipes seem doable. But there are no pictures. Not for novices.

I was just disappointed that didn't have pictures of the pastries, but have tried a few and they are great.

Page 9 ricotta salami asparagus tart: instruction 9 2/3 asparagus in food processor puréed. There is no instruction on where to put it in recipe! Where does it go?

Never tells you where to get puff pastry.Not very helpful overallWould not purchase this book.
