Worked as advertised l.
A bit spendy for a cup but the point was to reduce my plastic reliance. Nothing melted on our 78*F partly cloudy day. Worked well clean up was easy with no sorting for the 85% of plastics that goes to the landfill anyway.

Cups stuck together
A number of the cups had melted together. With some effort you could separate most of them but it wasn't easy, otherwise I liked the cups

Very Happy
Wanted to go more "green" for our wedding. Our venue doesn't allow glass outside so we are choosing the compostable cups for mixed drinks and for people taking wine outdoors. PLEASE UNDERSTAND THAT COMPOSTABLE CUPS ARE NOT NORMAL COMPOSTABLES AND MAY OR MAY NOT BE COMPOSTED DEPENDING ON WHAT KIND OF COMMERCIAL COMPOST FACILITES ARE IN YOUR AREA. So research that. Either way we didn't want to create new plastics.Very happy with the quality of these. Other compostable cups we have received were warped to due heat or the lips were warped or very uneven (different company) . These cups came in perfect condition. We even bought these through 2 different retailers and each time they were in excellent condition. I tested them by half filling with water and setting on the deck all day. In 85 degree with a lot of direct sunlight they didn't melt, bend, warp, or break down in any way.Highly recommend as an alternative for disposable plastics. Only downfall is they are pricier than plastic but we knew that.

BE AWARE THAT LIDS ARE SOLD SEPARATELY
The cups are a great size, but the photo makes it look like the lids are sold with the cups. They are not.

I can't believe this is PLANT material!!!
My family and I were recently eating out, and noticed that our cups said "Made From Plants" on the side. We were absolutely blown away...as I'd have sworn it was plastic. They're durable, well-designed, and we LOVE that they're environmentally friendly. We haven't bought plastic or foam disposable products in a really long time, and are really pleased we found Responsible Products.
