Significantly helped my pumping output
My pumping output of my breastmilk had dropped significantly after starting birth control at 6 weeks postpartum. I had tried so many options (natural methods, power pumping, other supplements and teas, etc) to help get it back up to snuff, but had zero results until now. I’ve been taking this fenugreek product for the past 5 days, and this morning, I finally started seeing a difference, and it was significant. Prior to today, I was only pumping between 0.5 - 2 ounces during one pumping session between both breasts. After 5 days using this supplement, I’ve been pumping at least 1.5 ounces from EACH breast during one session; I’ve pumped more total milk today in just two sessions than I have in weeks. Fenugreek has been the only change to my routine/diet, so I must give it the credit. I did notice this morning that my underarms do have the telltale maple syrup scent often associated with this supplement, but it isn’t noticeable unless you get your nose right up in the armpit; my husband doesn’t notice it at all. I follow the directions in terms of consumption: I have been taking two capsules at each meal, 6 total for the day. I drink between 90-120 ounces of water a day, and I pump one breast at a time so I can do massage and compression with the other hand. If you’re looking for help with your pumping output, I really suggest giving this a go. I have also noticed today that my son will feed on one breast for over 20 minutes and be completely satisfied, with plenty of good, loud swallows to let me know he’s getting lots of milk. I will update my review if today’s significant milk increase is a fluke, but I remain incredibly hopeful and optimistic. The photo shows the 3 bottles I currently have in the fridge: the 2 ounce bottle was last night’s pump around 9:40pm, and the 4 ounce bottle was pumped just 4 hours later (and my son had eaten around 11pm, making the 1:50am output more impressive in my opinion.) The 3.25 ounce bottle was pumped an hour after feeding my son this afternoon. Very grateful and happy today, hoping to maintain this increase.

this is absolutely amazing. Before
Before now I used Upspring Milkflow drink mix who h was ok but not completely effective for me...this is absolutely amazing. Before, I could get at most 4 oz from both breasts after missing a feeding but now I get as much as 8 oz...the way I used it was with blessed Thistle not because I needed to but I heard they work well together and I didn't want to take chances by taking it alone. I started off with 2 capsules 3x times a day with 2 capsules of blessed Thistle. But I didn't see any difference after a day maybe cuz I wasn't patient and ended up taking 4 tablets 3x times daily with 3 capsules of blessed Thistle 3x as well..alot huh? The good thing is once you've established a good milk supply you can stop without any side effects...also if your body, sweat, urine etc don't smell like maple syrup, you're not taking enough...this was great

Works great, helped me breastfeed till 20 months.
This is the third time I have bought fenugreek. I started using it when my son turned 4 months and was really breastfeeding a lot more. I used it along with eating oatmeal, nuts, and drinking plenty of water to increase milk supply. I really believe it works and am so glad I found it. I breastfed him till almost 20 months!

Not really helpful...
My child’s pediatrician recommended me to take some Fenugreek. She said that can helps me to have more breast milk. I take 6 capsules a daily but I think it not really works on me.

There's no magic pill
There's no magic pill to increase breast milk production, ladies. If you are having trouble making breastmilk, you have to empty your breasts every 2 hours to stimulate your body's own milk production. If that doesn't work, have a lactation consultant check your baby's latch. Supplements like fenugreek can only augment what you should already be doing. That being said, this was the most cost effective fenugreek supplement I found, and I was very happy with it.
