iBrush Electric Toothbrush Sonic Toothbrush with Timer

I have to say the iBrush is Awesome. I had the top of the line toothbrush from Sonic Care that went belly up a little over 2 years old. Out of the blue. It just stopped charging and started beeping when in the charging case. It was weird. I also tried a $20 drugstore battery one while I was deciding on what to buy next. It was too big and didn't clean my teeth well at all. I can honestly say this brush is much MUCH better. Neither were even half as good as this one.Pros:1. Best value for the money.2. UV Light to sanitize the brush head.3. The long battery life.4. The actual feel of the brush. The system isn't too harsh or wimpy.5. My teeth are Cleaner and Whiter. (That's not easy given my teeth withstood a lot of radiation years ago.)6. Not a whole lot of settings. Just real simple and effective.Since this is fairly new to the market there are just a couple of changes I would love to see. These aren't even strong enough to be called cons.1. The timing of the blue light. I would love to see it "blink" only when the battery is low, not when it's fully charged on the charger. Then make it a straight blue light when it's fully charged. Blinking on the charger when it fully charged is just a little annoying to me.2. Maybe a second divot on the stand so one can still put the wand on the stand, but not have to have it charging until it needs it. I don't have a drawer in this bathroom so the wand sits on the counter. (The brush is always covered in the safety of the UV sanitizer part when not in use.) That's why the unit stays plugged in.(A travel case would nice.)Otherwise, one can't go wrong in buying this electric toothbrush. It hands down beats all the competition on either side of the spectrum.

Couldn't believe brush head disintegrate in my mouth, so I tried a second head and it happened again.

I have purchased 3 of these. The toothbrush heads need to to made a little better ! The base of the toothbrush has broken off and has left the plastic bit stuck on the toothbrush base ! After this has happened the brush part is not able to be used ! This has happened to 9 of the brush heads !!! I have managed to remove the plastic bit of the end of the hand unit in the passed but the last time I couldn't ! It's stuck ! See photo !

I've never been one to spend the required amount of time brushing my teeth but then I have genetically good teeth so I felt I didn't need to time my brushing. Most of the time I would walk around doing other chores while just holding the toothbrush in my mouth and call it good. I purchased this toothbrush because my boss was relaying a conversation he had with his dentist about bi-yearly cleanings and his dentist asked him if he used a Sonic care because his teeth were cleaner than average. He said if he used that type of electric toothbrush, he needed only yearly cleanings. My boss does have the Sonic care system, but after researching that and some others I purchased the iBrush SonicWave. Not only do my teeth feel fresh from the dentist clean, I actually pay more attention to the technique and timing of my brushing and I actually go one step further and floss. I like black instead of white because white plastic over time can yellow, plus it just looks more modern. The one and only flaw, is the flashing light. I had read this before purchasing in other customer reviews and they are right, it's annoying. So I just brush my teeth, let the UV cleaning complete its cycle, then unplug it for the night. Problem solved. But, if the manufacturer were to improve the product, that would be the place to start, lose the blinking light. No one likes to feel like they are sleeping outside a strip mall with neon flashing lights.UPDATE: Accidentally dropped and broke my iBrush so I purchased another one. This newer model no longer features the blinking light in the charging mode! Once it’s completed a full charge the light goes out. Perfect!

My 200$ phillips sonicare electric toothbrush with uv cleaner broke and I bought this to replace it and it is just as good or better. I love the look and love that the UV cleanser cap doubles as a rinse cup and also gets sterilized when you turn the UV light on the sterilize the brush heads. Came with 4 brush heads and love the black color and the neon colored brush heads. This is something I would definately reccomend to anyone who wants a deep clean. massage or who has sensitive teeth (as it has a soft mode) or for someone with braces like me who needs a good clean inbetween brackets and wires and hard to reach places. It has great power and is a power saver too!!. It charges for 6 mins at a time while the UV sterilizer is running and automatically shuts itself off. I Would highly reccomend this product to anyone! Dpnt spend 200$ on an electric toothbrush set up similar to this because this is just as good if not better. It even has a brief pause after 30seconds for each 1/4 of your mout (top left, top right and lower left and lower right) and turns off after two minutes so you know you have gotten the best clean. I do suggest waiting to turn the toothbrush on with toothpaste on it until you get it in your mouth. It does vibrate so it will "sling" toothpaste everwhere if its not in your mouth.
