Pentair Compool Replacement Parts CVA-24T Valve Actuator, 24 Volt AC, 180 Degree Rotation

Perfect replacement for the same model that broke after about ten years. Works exactly as expected. This one has the same plug so it was easy to unplug the old one from the control board and plug this one in. No handle or top knob were included, so save your old ones. Hopefully this one will go another ten years.

The actuator failed after 15 years of life. The new unit attached onto the valve no problem. The cable was too long and the area in my pentair electrical box would not fit it. I ended up leaving 90% wound up external but tie wrapped under the box to protect from sun. It might live longer if there was more grease around the metal gears but hard to put in the effort for exceeding 15 years..hopefully it makes it!!

This is a quality OEM part. Should last for at least 10 years like the one I replaced.

I tried a generic brand and it was cheap and did not work. Stick with the Pentair brand - works great.

Pretty easy to change out. Would have been at least twice that amount to have it done by a professional. If you're a bit of a handyman, this is the way to go.
