Use this case on my Tmobile S8+ phone. One of the reasons why i buy these types of cases is because they have extra protection on the corners. This case fits my S8+ perfectly, Very snug on all edges and corners. Phone does not slip out of the case. When it is in your hand, you can tell immediately that it is solid case and have confidence that if the phone is dropped, it is protected from dents and scratches. All cut-outs on the case line up perfectly with buttons/sockets on the S8. However, the only minor (tiny) is that the cover overlaps the SIM tray by about 1/8 inch. (see JPG). This means that you will need to remove the cover in order to pull out the tray.The edge of the cover is close to both the fingerprint reader and the EDGE. Every time I swipe the EDGE or press on the fingerprint reader, my finger hits the edge of the case. Makes you want to press harder just to make contact with both the reader and edge swipe. However, it has not really interfered with functionality. (not a complaint, just something to watch out for)Although I do see air gaps in the rear, I am not to bothered by this. That's just a cosmetic problem. I also use the Samsung Wireless charger without any issue.Regarding the sides of your S8 Plus, the case fits perfect and actually gives better protection by hugging the top edge of the curve of the glass. Some people may think that case covers a little too much on the curvature, but no complaints from me - more glass protection. Note: if you decide to purchase one of the clear sheet screen protectors, make sure you read all reviews because this case could interfere with screen protectors (to be fair, I should say that the screen protectors may interfere with this case). The sides of the case may overlap the screen protector. Anyways, you get the idea.And last, although the case has a smooth/shiny surface, it's a solid feel and has yet to slip out of my hand. This case does not have the "ribbed" edgesOverall, it's a decent case and glad I am finally protecting my S8+.Update: 02/13/2021: Have had this case on my S8+ phone. since June 2017. The case is still perfect today. How many times it has protected my S8+ from many drops. Not a single scratch/dent on my S8+. No cracks, no discoloring and still flexible. Absolutely love this case. Unfortunately to say, I have to give all this up since I will be upgrading to a Note 20 Ultra. I will really miss this case.

Bought this clear slim case to replace my old similar case that came with the liquid screen protection, which was purchased at Costco in May 2017. The old case and liquid screen did little protection for my S8+ when one corner of the front screen was broken after falling off 18 inches from the bed onto the tiled floor in Fiji. It was 4 weeks old. Between the holidays the old case started ripping apart along the seam line between the bottom and the wall.Moving forward, the phone screen was finally repaired by Geek Squad at BestBuy on 12/31/17 for $250 plus taxes, and needs a new protection. This case has a few good designs and one minor drawback compared to the previously lousy case.Pros:1) Entire case is a single-molded TPU unit, which means there is no glued/seamed line that can tear apart.2) Four corners are thickened and raised to provide substantial protection. This corner protection is not completely solid but rather raised and has an air gap between the case and the phone corners. It is supported be a transverse thin bar underneath to dampen the fall absorption. Hope this is as good as intended.Minor Cons:1) The four buttons are not raised high enough. When not looking at the phone, it takes another second to rub around the wall to know the orientation of the phone and to find the buttons. This is a minor grime. On the good side, one might think it is better as the wall has a lower profile.The case has so far accidentally been tested when the phone was dropped from 12 inches high onto a tiled floor on the same day after repair. This is not a big sample test yet. Time to tell.
