Zildjian 22" Gig Cymbal Bag

Ordered this bag thinking it would be the one pictured and it says it holds a 15” front pocket and it definitely is not what is pictured nor is it 15 inches

This bag is amazing. The main compartment has three separators, allowing me to store 4 cymbals inside without any of them hitting together. The extra compartment on the outside is great for smaller cymbals, but I wish it had at least one separator so I could keep my hi-hats from hitting together. The zipper pouch is spacious and can store lots of small implements like extra cymbal felts and wingnuts. The backpack straps are a lifesaver, because I definitely could not hold a bag that heavy with just one hand, although it is a little tough getting through doorways sometimes. WARNING: Treat the zippers well, because the metal gets a little thin where it attaches together and looks as if it can break if the bag is lifted by the zipper. That is not a problem because a key ring will suffice if the zipper breaks. This bag is almost everything I could ask for and arguably the best cymbal bag out there.

If you're traveling a lot, this is worth it. I've got 6 cymbals on my kit and they all fit well inside. There are dividers inside so the cymbals aren't clanking against one another inside. I was even able to fit my 16" China in with the rest of the cymbals.My favorite feature is the knapsack straps. It makes it incredibly easy to transport your cymbals if you just sling them on your back. I used to use heavy-duty grocery bags to carry my cymbals around because I was too stubborn to pay for a cymbal bag, but man is this worth it.***Pros :)-quality construction by Zildjian. I've read some disparaging reviews about this product, I can tell you that they are unfounded. I think the reviewers may be confused about which cymbal bag they are speaking of, because this thing is like a tank. It is the most durable canvas bag I have ever owned. The reinforced rubber bottom isn't blowing out anytime soon and the straps are sewed on as well as anything I've ever owned. I think they designed this bag for hauling cymbals to the top of Everest. This bag is sturdy.I'm using it to gig with a monster ride cymbal, A Custom crashes and hats, and they are of considerable weight, yet the bag accommodates them effortlessly. Maybe I just got a good one, I don't know, but this bag is a fighter.

To be fair. You get what you pay for. I bought the cheapest bag possible and that's exactly what is is. The other quality bags are $100. This one was $20. I found out why as soon as I used it. Though the exterior seens heavy duty and well padded, There is no padding inside to protect the cymbals from each other. I went to a fabric store and bought some fleece to wrap my cymbals in. I heard stitching break on the straps the first time I picked it up with 5 cymbals in it. Apart from looking like a ninja turtle when walking down the street, this is the perfect bag to keep your cymbals in if you're schlepping around on foot (as I do). As a 22" bag, there's plenty of room for my cymbals and even for my sticks, brushes, and whatnot in the second pocket. padded adjustable shoulder straps mean I don't mind walking a mile or two with this on my back.I keep a 20" ride, an 18" ride, x2 17" crashes inside without breaking a sweat.There is plenty of padding on the bottom, and haven't had any problems as of yet!My only grip is that is says Zildjian across the back...which is small, but I'm not a huge fan of letting everyone know what is in the bag.

cheaper than a Jaspo0rt backpack, this bag does the job and does it well. Has individual sleeves for each cymbal (by sleeves I mean thin sheet of synthetic nylon). Straps look like they'll last a while, shipped fast. Wish it had padding at the bottom. I set it down and think I damaged the cymbals... wasn't expecting them to just rest on the floor. Not well designed on the bottom. Hihat pouch is handy. comes with caribeaner, not sure why. Zildjian got a deal on caribeaners and just threw one on there for no apparent reason, maybe should have padded the bottom instead?

Despite other reviews I read (and ignored) I find this to be a perfectly substantial bag for carrying my rather large array of cymbals. It's well-made, reinforced in the proper places and offers the option of carrying either by handle or shoulder straps. For me it was money well spent. The individual dividing semi-sleeves are great for arranging cymbals according to type and purpose. Perhaps some of those with less success were trying to carry wolverines or badgers in theirs' but it provides great service in transporting my cymbal set. Good luck, Batz

Bought for husband who needed new cymbal bag for his band. He was very impressed with it can fit a his cymbals of all sizes plus lots of extra storage built-in for sticks ect.. Would highly recommend fast delivery to :)

Very bad quality, I brought this for my son for Christmas and it is falling apart tried contact for replacement and have been ignored please don't purchase. Had to give 1 star but doesn't deserve it.

This a great product, It's well made and provides good protection for cymbals, also the added backpack straps are comfy and made it much easier to transport then traditional cymbal bags. All in all top banana!!

This is a well made product. dividers aren't as good as some on the market but it's comfortable to carry and a good size if you have large cymbals to transport.

Great product - is serving my son well.
