great jacket for middle schooler
My 13 yo son loves this - he's athletic and pretty picky. The jacket is great in the spring and fall - probably going to need something heavier for winter, though. It's bonded on the outside so it repels rain and stays dry, and soft and warm on the inside. The cuffs and hood are both cinched, so they offer additional protection against the elements. Also, it's longer than the waist - again, additional warmth / protection. The jacket looks great on him - cool enough for middle school, but plain enough that he doesn't stick out.

Really Nice Jacket
This is a really great lightweight jacket. It works really well for cooler days in spring and fall. The material is sturdy and will hold up well to a lot of outdoor activities. My daughter really likes it and this is one of the rare jackets that my son will be able to wear as well. I love that the pockets have zippers ensuring what they put in the pockets won't fall out.

Cozy inside! Repeals water too!
The key for my kids is comfort and with the cozy inside, it makes the coat comfy and warm like wearing their favorite sweatshirt. Being in San Diego, we don't need a heavy coat, so this one is nice for our cold days, and on the rare occasion it rains, he's covered! It's a nice all in one coat that is comfortable. My 9 year old wears a M (8-10), but in coats we typically size up because they like bigger coats to go over sweatshirts, layers, etc but this is still a little big. It definitely is a good quality just like the other Under Armor clothes we've owed.

Lightweight and Comfy. Quality Made.
I got this jacket for my 12 year old son. He typically wears a size 12-14 (youth L/XL). We got the size L and it fits him great. There is still a little room, but it's not too baggy. The material is nice and soft inside. The outer material is nice and can repel water for a time. The main zipper is nice and thick and glides easily. The pockets also have zippers. The hood fits well. This is a nice lightweight jacket, but it will definitely keep you warm in the Spring and Fall and even early Winter.I've ordered quite a few Under Armour brand things and so far everything has been well made. Definite thumbs up from me.

Size
Great lightweight jacket, but with a warm fleece-type material on the inside. Good for kids in 60-45 degree weather. Haven't tried it in the wind yet though. Fits true to size in arm length and girth, however is a little short in the back for slightly taller kids. My son is 3.5 yrs old and in the 75th percentile in heigth. I bought the 4t. I'm keeping it because a larger size would be too long in the arms.
