Great
Very good Very good. I am going into as level biology 3 years after doing GCSE biology at school, it seems like the perfect introduction and is helping me get started before september. I feel in areas there are places were they could do with clarifying some points for example early on it talks about how amino acids are attached to one and other through peptide bonds but then in secondary structure they are attached by weaker hydrogen bonds. For me, it took an extra bit of getting my head around because to start with I felt the book was suggesting only peptide bonds and then it left me trying to figure out the differences and whether this was correct. I feel extra clarification is needed! I won’t put this book down for that though as overall I feel my confident and prepared going into school with extra knowledge to help me achieve. Also it’s important to add some people aren’t aware the shortness of the book it is 33 pages of information in A4 and that’s all it needs to be, some people seem to be purchasing without knowing that.

Excellent introduction to A level
Nice simple well illustrated book - more like a booklet as it's very short.Just what new A level students need to bridge the gap between GCSE and A level and to reassure them that it's going to be doable.
