I can honestly say, that it successfully locked my bag on a return trip to Dublin. Not a soul entered my bag in transit and very nearly not me when I forgot the code. Luckily though I was able to guess the code by the way the dials behave. 653 in case you wanted to know.

package arrived cut opened with sticker saying Amazon reconditioned item. No instructions included on how to open and how to set the code.have returned for refund out of principle despite the small amount paid.

These are great little locks - the mechanism is really smooth, and it's very easy to change the code to your own preference.Obviously they're not going to stop people from opening things, but that's not the point...for the job, they're perfect.

You pay for what you get, very easy to bypass, just pull on the hasp whilst rotating wheels, starting at bottom and you will crack this lock in about 20 seconds, you need a key if you wanted a real lock.

Nice and sturdy. Perfect size for me but couldn’t do the 3 digit pin. Kept setting to 000. Had the same problem with the other one. Wouldn’t set to any other digits.
