Wonder Woman Vol. 2: Year One (Rebirth)

The story of Wonder Woman and her origins are well known but this new rendering of it is one of the best and is near flawless. Steve Trevor changes from airforce pilot to Navy SEAL Special forces. Etta Candy under goes a ethnic change to african american. Dianas appearence is more inline with the charactors Greek origins. The hot pant look was starting to age somewhat anyway. All in all very good.So why four stars?Nichola Scotts talent is there for all to see her art being beautiful. However she seem to be one of those people who think that by putting in muslims in the background or foreground (one hands a note to B.Minerva notifying her of Dianas arrival). And sneaks in a few more during the battle with the terrorists and the Maru gas that we will welcome them with open arms. After recent bloody terror attacks the logic of this now seems very eroded.What the Amazons would make of the islamic religion we can only guess but I think they would be horrified and shocked and they would put Io to work at her forge to double sword production in case of attack by them.

Wonder Woman has been a stalwart of the Rebirth series. Volume 2 continues that trend. The incredibly talented Nicola Scott takes the reins as artist here. As spectacular as everything about her work is, it's the emotion filled eyes drawn by her that are truly a sight to behold. Nothing captures Diana's innocence like the eyes drawn by Nicola Scott. There's a page spread in the book where Wonder Woman is inside a cell, surrounded by animals. That page alone, is reason enough to buy this book.

Ein wundervolle neu erzählte Origins Story die mit tollen Zeichnungen und viel Witz aufwartet. Einziges Manko ist das doch etwas kurz geratene Finale, welches so plötzlich vorbei ist wie es kam.

El producto en sí es bueno, el problema es que no especifican que es producto abierto o de devolución, tenía marcas de haber sido leído previamente, supongo que por ello el precio bajo, pensaria en la devolución, pero no creo que lo tengan al mismo precio, espero que en mis otros pedidos no suceda lo mismo, gracias
