This book covers what you need to know about healthcare including Medicare. It's written with the authors personal experience as he went through sorting out the best healthcare for himself. If you are near or planning how to fund all these extra medical needs in the future I would recommend reading this book.

Haven't finished it yet, but it looks like it is going to be very practical. Us'ns on a "fixed" (think "fixed" as your dog's vet does it) income need all the help we can get!

Almost finished with the book and it does give a lot of information for insurance purchasing and also how to be persistent with finding the best medical. It also walks you through prescription problems.....The U.S. needs more intervention with phamaceutical companies!

Lots of information (almost too much) but website identifications should be helpful. Keep in mind that the book is at heart a promotional document for a government-run, single payer health system ($15 trillion price tag).

A lot of great information about how to navigate Medicare and Medicare Advantage plans.
