Oh trust me I will definitely upload the screenshots and footage that I sent the customer service, but this is what happened and I still am pissed.1. I set a video camera to get visual evidence - two cameras with motion detection. *It only alarmed the event, not recorded the moment because I set the recording 24/7* (*added on 2/25)2. The motion detection works fine, I set it as high and it was extremely sensitive - it caught the illumination change.3. And there the evidence scene was, the camera gave me several alarms about motion detection and recorded in the local drive but then all of sudden dumb camera somehow stopped recording. THE MOST IMPORTANT MOMENT, IT LITERALLY STOPPED FOR 5 MINUTES.4. So I sent an email to LaView, explained what happened with screenshots - this is what they said:---------------------------Thank you for your reply and I am glad to hear that you like the camera.There are a few possibilties about this.When the same movement keep happening, the camera will capture with certain times.Like the images you sent, it shows that there is movement on that time but it does not record, but before and after that movement, it detected a movement.There is another chance that at that time, the wifi signal is not stable, so the camera miss one.Or the movement is too weak to be captured at that time.But no need to worry, as you can see, alomost each min the camera will capture movement, so you will not lose any important actions.--------------< end >------------------------No need to worry? It already happened, what worry? You bought a dashcam and you got into a car accident by other's fault but somehow the dashcam didn't record. You were pissed so you contacted the manufacturer and they said "no worry, the dashcam recorded almost every moment". This was the dumbest reply I've ever got from any customer service.The movement was weak? The light changes were caught and movement was weak? what was her, a ninja? ghost? Please think before you do your work.So I replied back to the customer service:--------------------------I wasn't talking about the option for recording when capturing the movement.The recording was made 24/7 mode, and that specific term the camera didn't keep the recording.Whether there's wifi or not, the camera should record since there's an SD card.I'm not worried at all because if this is not resolved, I would not mind contacting Amazon and returning the cameras since it has a certain malfunction mode.Once again,1. The camera has been loop recording 24/7.2. There's an alarm for motion detection but nothing to do with recording.3. After certain motion detection or whatever it was, the camera stopped recording for certain amount of time.4. The wifi has been fine.------------------< end >----------------------This is what the great LaView replied:--------------------------------------------I have sent your camera eb1e229530baf3bce2xtsl and the name is LV-PB9-2PK a new firmware.You could go to the Live Feed page, click the top right corner button, scroll up and find the Device Upgrade button, and you will see a red dot, click it to proceed with the upgrade will be okay.If you have any other questions after upgrading, please do not hesitate to contact me again, I will always be here to offer help when you need me.---------------< end > ------------------So basically, LaView forced updating my camera, without any my permission because there was no option for cancel the update, only OK.And guess what happened, it never gave me the motion detection alarm after the update. Are you guys that dumb not to have fail safe or never test out the code? I am a damn mechanical engineer and I some time to time code but I always make sure any fail safe proof works. You idiots make money from this and you don't do your work?So again, I replied back and this is what I got.-----------------------------------We have checked and confirmed that this camera eb1e229530baf3bce2xtsl has been detected movements and uploading logs without any problem during the past few days.If you could find notifications on LaView app-Me-Message Center for this camera, but it will not send your phone notifications.You could try the following methods.1.remove the camera from your app, clear the app from Me-top right corner button-Clear Cache, then re connect the camera to the app.2.log out of your account and log in again by clicking Me-top right corner button-Log Out.3.delete the app and re-doanload it again.Thank you so much for your support to LaView.If you do not want to try again, I could understand, just tell me your shipping info and I will send you a digital return label to send them back and refund.------------------< end >-------------------Oh yeah, of course I returned but as I or we have heard, these cameras, LaView can take any footage from the camera anytime they want but also, reinstalling the app is the solution? When do you use the cameras for security purpose? WHEN YOU ARE AWAY FROM THE PLACE YOU WANT TO PROTECT. THINK PLEASE SANDRA, THINK.Moreover, I swear to god I will never buy any security camera from LaView 100% but any other company from the same country of LaView's for my own safety for sure.

I absolutely love these cameras. We wanted an easy to set up Wi-Fi system. They are so easy to set up and connect to the app. We are now able to see what is going on around our house when we are away and can check in anytime. Another great thing is that you don’t have to pay for a service just to have them. We bought a 128GB microSD card for each of our cameras so we have plenty of storage for video. We also bought a couple of the pan and tilt cameras that screw into a light bulb socket which are super easy to install. I would highly recommend giving LAView cameras a shot. They are definitely worth it.

Every option the L2 offers, brings sharp detail to your viewer. Be ready to experience quality as a standard. The night vision is great, motion detection is vital and reliable! I recommend this brand to anyone who ask what’s a good surveillance camera for my house or business!

They are decent cameras although the recording only if movement is detected is a issue. If im paying for 14 Days of video recording I should have access to tht video at any moment. I have the cameras set up tht was easy. The app seems easy to use as well. The recording and getting notifications every 3 minutes is annoying when there's no movement on the cameras.

Customer service was hands down the most excellent, reliable and painless experience I have experienced since this whole pandemic started.The equipment is solid and it's design aesthetic is simple, clean and modern. Installation was a breeze and I found myself connected to the control center of a very feature-packed and user friendly interface to navigate. This setup can be easily accomplished by both new to home security tech and the more advanced or savvy users. For the price that you pay for such a suite of control, it definitely feels a bit higher-end considering the affordability.We use this specific camera for outdoor use and it meets all of needs and then some. The only negative thing I could say about it after a week of use is the two-way speaker is somewhat of a funny fopa. Like this camera delivers in all the real areas of importance and then the microphone quality is awful, and if you're attempting to communicate with someone on the other hand, good luck getting them to understand a single world you're saying Mr. Roboto.The HD resolution is crisp as long as you dont try to zoom in. I wouldn't suggest ever enabling sound detection, especially for outdoor use. It's rather annoying to get notified everytime a bird craps on the porch or just of wind makes the leaves and branches in your yard sound like a nuclear war head had been detonated.Connectivity is quite versatile. The camera is placed at quite a distance from the router and we have yet to see the connection quality call anywhere less than 80-88 on a high congested or speed throttled network. If you have a stable internet connection your FPS and video quality are rather impressive. I wouldn't suggest this camera setup for someone who's connection doesn't allow at least 5GB of highspeed internet UPLOAD AND DOWNLOAD.You have the option to expand the memory with an sd card or you can opt into some very reliable cloud storage provided through the app. They even offer a 30 trial that you can begin at any time. And whatever day you choose, you'll be able to view events from 14 days before you begin. This is almost u heard of and it's quite reliable.It's really hard to find anything wrong with this security camera besides its lousy and almost irrelevant mono speaker. At this price and with all this bang for your buck, you'd be silly to pass up on such a reliable and well made product.If you're looking for a little piece of mind and the ability to watch on the places that you care about most, this device is perfect for you and it's inexpensive enough to impress even some of the harder to please, fancy pants types.The only things that I would make sure of before making this purchase is that your wifi connection is highspeed and supports 2.4GHZ. This device is not configureable on a 5GHZ network. Make sure that you're able to have safe and adequate power outlet access as well. I would always suggest that you use an appropriate surge protector, and wired in securely or hidden manner. Placed just out of reach of easy access so that anyone attempting to cut any cords or damage property would be caught in the act before they were ever able to breach your property.I plan on adding more to our property and if there's ever an updated model, I won't even hesitate to do an immediate upgrade. As I already know, the shipments tend to arrive way faster than I could have ever expected.

Bought b5, and love it then bought 2 pair of b9 this one event better and so many ways, connections very good and stable clear image, as for now we haven’t installed it properly because we are trying to see the connection strength this is in 98% for the farthest in the restaurant from the router and still showing excellent connection. It’s more than 100 feet from the router. Really recommend it

Very good quality camera, from the picture definition to the night light vision everything is perfect. Even the customer service is excellent.Will only buy LaView products from now on!
