The Coffee Dictionary

I love the way that this book is structured. At first, I didn't know what to expect; I figured it would just be another coffee book that had chapters about every which subject regarding the fruit, but that wasn't the case. The entire book is literally a dictionary of anything and everything you can think to define in the industry.Personally I love this book because I can use it as a sort of fun fact book, carrying it with me and opening up to any page and learning about something I may have never heard of or brushing up on something I haven't thought about in a while. Of course, you can also look up anything you particularly want as well, and there is just about the perfect amount of information you need to know without being boring or under-explaining.All in all, a great pastime for the avid coffee lover and curious newcomer.

I’m only just getting into researching and learning about coffee, so I felt like this book was a good, broad overview of a lot of the terms generally used when discussing coffee. I also appreciated when the author went into depth about some of the processes that are touted and followed with his own opinion/ brought up the controversy with certain methods. I plan to re-read this book/ come back to it later.

I’m a coffee entrepreneur and these facts are all very true everything is cited, if you’re looking into getting into the coffee business or looking to pick up a hobby purchase this book it’ll teach you just about all the basics

This is the encyclopedia of coffee terms. If you are passionate about everything that has to do with coffee, this is the book for you. It will provide you with a good working vocabulary so you can speak with authority on the subject with your local barista.
