The worst underwater light I’ve ever used. Using is for a snorkel (less than 2 meters) and stop working in 5 minutes. Battery not dealing properly and water inside. Do not buy it

I took this on a recent dive trip to add back in some colour on my GoPro footage but it really didn’t provide much light at all during the day. If it was used at non-macro distances (300-500mm) the light was only just perceptible and created a nasty hot spot in the middle of the frame. If it was used in close, the light filled the frame so I could see it being useful for macro shots.As a consequence, I didn’t use it much on the first day, but decided to try it again on day 2. I had rinsed the light off and I noticed the LEDs were all slightly on but very dim. I thought this was odd so I opened the rear cover and took the battery out and then put it back in to do a reset. This made no difference and I noticed some light condensation inside the rear battery cover.I left the battery out and the door open overnight and the next morning it appeared to be working normally but I didn’t risk it on day 2.Summary: The device waterproof capabilities are limited in my opinion, the O-ring is not well designed and provides an ineffective seal. I had only taken it to 20m (half it’s rated depth) and still it seemed to leak. Also, the light is so weak that it is useless in the day from anything greater than macro distance.Returned for a refund.

Perfect for bringing back the colour to close range underwater shots.Tested for a week in Scapa Flow. Battery was good for 8x 1 hr dives, albeit using intermittently.Mounted on a set of go pro extension arms, about 6" to the side of the camera.Down side is that the beam is not very diffuse and quite tight, so there's a sweet spot between getting too close and being out of focus and being too far away and having a hot spot.Still great value for money and a perfect intro video light.

absolutely brilliant in brightness, performance and build. I had to film the bottom of my boat to check if we had moved the transducer and also to see how much algae had built up as we were not getting on the plane, Without the light but with sunshine we couldn't clearly see our target however with this one light we could see every bit of our target area brilliantly.

This light is plenty bright for use on land. Don't look straight into it, you'll be temporarily blinded for sure. It fits nicely with my gopro. I was hoping to use it with my gopro mainly as a fill light. However it is too dim for this purpose, only increasing luminance for a few metres. However considering its price not a bad deal overall

Well bought this for my diving holiday so I could have photo memories. It switched on great but would not switch off again the button does not work. So had to open it to take battery out. This is not what you want when your wet after a dive. Carnt be bothered to return it and will not purchase another. Perhaps cheap for a reason
