I had bought each of my 4 year old granddaughters a "secret spy pen" so they could write secret letters to each other - and practice their writing. What a HIT! They love them. One granddaughter lamented than I, too, did not have a secret pen so she could write to secret messages to me also. So...I had to buy myself a secret spy pen!I only wanted one pen but could not find such an option. I chose this set of six (6) pens at $8.99 as the best cost and rating value. (I paid almost that much for each of my granddaughter's pens in the shop!).I have received the pens. I have tried at least one of the pens. It works just fine. I don't have any complaints.How they hold up over time remains to be seen but at this point I would say every child under 12 needs at least one!

Bought these because the school book fair sold out far too quickly for my son to get one. Found these pens and got like 6, for the price of one. Both of my sons had fun hiding in the closet and drawing on the walls. :) gave me alone time and didn't ruin my walls or furniture.

My 4 year old is learning letters and how to write small words. He thinks that invisible notes, just for him and mommy, are the greatest. It was absolutely worth the money and super easy to use with the light that is built into the pen cap.
