sensitivity...
In fact, this piano is strange. You have to press the keys a little hard to get the tone you want, but if you release your finger slightly you're going to hear the same tone again, like you pressed the key again!I've never played a piano before, but I think you will not learn something with this toy. It's just for fun.I'm going to convert it to a real instrument.

Only in desperate times without a keyboard will I use it. Maybe a good gift for a young music student! Prize in competition?
The touch gets stuck sometimes. Its touch takes some getting used to. Now, if you get creative enough, this little product can meet the needs of say a small theatrical skit in a small space. My fingers are not small, so I tend to press more than one when my intentions are to only touch one key. If amplified enough, the special effect tones might be used in special circumstances for special needs. It's unique, I just always wanted one and I'm glad to have it in my studio. I have a youth choir and struggle with incentives for them to strive and push harder. I'm thinking of a fundraiser where kids have their own program/show like American Idol with judges....to make a long story short - this device could also be a prize to donate for the cause!

Doesn't work
Multiple keys will not play. Was suppose to come with a case and it just came in an old beat up box. There was no cord with it either.

not that bad
This piano has served us well. We travel a lot and it was the only option I had to carry along. My son has made decent progress in his lessons on it. Yes, it is not the top quality that a dedicated pianist would want, however, it has survived a trip to the humid tropics and is still going strong. Do NOT leave batteries inside while you travel. We have honestly really enjoyed this roll-up piano even with it's tinny sounds.

Not for practice, just for fun
My 4 & 6 yr olds boys are taking keyboard lessons so I thought this would be ideal since we travel a lot, they can practice anywhere. You really have to press hard on the keys and like the previous reviewer, it's a bit strange. Might be okay for older kids or adults but not for small hands. The Virtuoso APP on the IPad is much better.

Roll up keyboard
I use the keyboard to practice songs I am learning. It works for giving me pitches. The photo shows someone playing with both hands on the keyboard. I find it impossible to play a 3 note chord on this equipment. My recommendation is to use a real keyboard if you have it.

Great for my class
My 4-5 year olds love this! It is good quality and worth the price. I highly recommend it for at home or at school.
