Q: How does one engage the pin valve on the Sodastream cartridge while using this adapter?

The pin does not get depressed during filling except by pressure. This valve has a second valve stage, if a pin lying behind pushes back too much pressure through the valve, it closes from the inside. A manual operation of the valve pin during the filling process does not bypass this function. This cylinder valve is possible only with slowly increasing pressure.) I had similar issues with the 3rd gen soda stream bottles… try this… Ensure the bottle is completely empty. Chill the bottle in a freezer or deep freezer (I did mine overnight).. Screw the bottle on the side. Open the thumbscrew on the adapter... slightly use a glove to avoid issues with high pressure CO2. Open the CO2 tank.. Slowly close the Thumbscrew.. you will hear the tank start to fill. Slowly open the main CO2 valve.

Q: I've lost the extra gaskets that came with the product. What are the specifications for them, so I can purchase replacements?

The smallest is a #60 o-ring, 1/4”OD x 1/8” ID x 1/16”.

Q: Hello, how do I make sure to not overfill my Sodastream bottle with your adaptor?

I've never gotten past about half full. Would love to go fuller to have more time between reloads. I weigh before and after, and I can add 200-330g.
