This item is perfect for my Gopro Hero 5 and it is easy to attached and detached from my gopro hero 5.

I bought this because I wanted the flexibility of using my own vlogging kit and cheaper than the GoPro media kit. I use the Rode wireless go 2 for my audio which superior to the GoPro audio. The whole reason I purchased this case was because it solved a lot of the issues I had with setting up a rig to use my GoPro for vlogging. Why?1. This is the perfect setup. The GoPro easy easy to add/remove from the case.2. It has a place to store that stupid external mic adapter that you have to purchase from GoPro in order to use an external mic.3. The cold mount on the top of the case raises the external mic high enough that it is out of your shot even with the wind shield on it.The equipment I use with it is:1. GoPro Hero 7 Black2. GoPro external mic adapter3. Movo VXR10 microphone

I actually thought it was metal when looking at the pictures of it but it’s plastic. I’m actually happy it’s plastic because it’s musch lighter. The quality is excellent and the fit of everything is perfect. I wish I had found this earlier! Love it!
