Largely plastic
It's plastic, a lot of it composite. You might have an opinion about that? So my review, my opinion. I'll begin with the motor. It's not a compact unit. Good choice using a large one. Good design with the probability of need to use it in high temperatures for an extended time. That motor drives a pair of connecting rods moving 1 inch pistons on their 1/2 inch stroke. The rods are a well moulded but composite. It's good to know that the rods have a pressed steel roller bearing attaching them to a metallic flywheel. The wrist pin bearing wasn't checked. The piston does look metallic and similar material as the flywheel. There is a steel sleeve pressed into the composite cylinder structure. If it fails me out of warranty I'll get to see the rings. So the twin cylinders have a connecting plenum with a single joining seam. Pressure is sampled within the plenum with a gauge I'd rate as very accurate. Power to the unit brings the gauge to life. Display is half inch LCD with a blue backlight. No issue with reading it. Set your pressure before or after attaching to the tire. Either way you can read current pressure prior to switching on the motor. Should tire pressure be above the compressor set point the pump will NOT run. I've used my unit up to 55psi and filled 15 inch LT tires on my Wrangler. It's very good at doing the job. I wouldn't expect to fill a 40 gallon tank above 40psi. Hardest job so far has been the spare tire for the Wrangler. It's going to look and feel fine at under 20psi filling it to 45 left me concerned about a compact spare with a 60 psi recommended level. The auto shut off did well on small high pressure bicycle tires. Does show a much higher pressure immediately after shutting off. Experience so far says it settles within a couple psi of your setpoint. About all I've missed of the compressor is the cord. Measure out what length you need. Answer it for yourself. I've got an old jump pack. I use the power jack it has. Two pieces but it gets power right where I want to use it. I can't imagine finding a less expensive pump with near the durability I expect from this unit. I do have a cheaper unit. It came with the jump pack at a $45 price. This pump is my functional replacement for that one. Remember this unit is plastic. It's even more important to handle it gently particularly in cold temperatures.I learned something when I tried to power it from a automotive power jack. As the pressure went up the speed of the pump slowed. Mine came with a socket connected to battery clamps. Use that! I'd start there. If you blow the circuit fuse it is still an option. Another FYI. Most power ports are fused at 10A. I measured current near 12A. Tire pressure was 40PSI.Still pleased with the purchase. Did notice a missing rubber foot at 6 months.

Quick, Quiet, Small but Stout
There's nothing not to like about this little dual cylinder compressor/inflator. Its best features are incredible speed and quietness. Your tires can be dead empty and can be brought up to 35 lbs. in around two minutes thanks to the dual cylinders. It's much quieter than the one it replaced and doesn't vibrate or travel on the ground. The quick connector lets you connect the air hose to the valve stem with a quick push and forward snap--no more trying to thread a screw. There are other things to like, such as the onboard LED light array. Read the description for details. It stows neatly in its zipper bag, small enough to fit in the glove box. It has the features most newer compressors have: preset function, easy to read, accurate LCD backlit display, multiple tips for different inflatables, etc. It comes with a 10+ foot coiled air hose extension in case the equally long power cord is too short to reach a tire, although you'd have to be driving a stretch limo for that to be the case. I was able to easily reach all 4 tires in my Chevy Volt from the power outlet in the top dash compartment. The power cord is heavier gauge than the flimsy ones that come with most inflators; like lamp cord, and should hold up well over the long haul. The one that came with the Volt used flimsy single strand cord that wraps into a channel and then pulls (with difficulty) into a cut out on the underside of the unit. You can only perform this operation so many times before the strain on the cord takes its toll and breaks internally, which is why I replaced it with this one.Bottom line: unless this thing quits prematurely, I can't say enough good things. Before I forget: This thing comes in at a much lower price point than other inflators with similar features. If you've ever had to pull into a service station to air up a low tire, you need one of these. This thing will inflate quicker and give you accurate pressure readings (verified by matching the inflator reading with my car's TPS reading).

Worked great at first...
The unit worked great at first. We only used it a couple times over the summer. Its getting colder out so we got out the air pump and now it will not turn on. The PSI reads really high before we attach it to the tire. Anywhere from 240 to 251psi. I hook it to the tire and the display gives us an "Err". I paid over 50 dollars for this unit. I sent the supplier a message and have not received a response.Update - Seller sent a replacement and itβs been working great with no issues.

Compressor shut down and won't power up at all
Update....5/28/2023The company sent a replacement compressor. It too failed after 4-5 uses. They refunded the money. I'd like to state while the product was lacking, the company and the people there went our of their way to make things right. There was no flailing about trying to keep from doing the right thing. They did and they honored the warranty and did what they were supposed to do. While I do NOT recommend this compressor, I have only praise for the company and the people there. You can trust them to do it right. Thanks to all of you there!!!*************************************************************************************************************************Compressor worked great for a 5-6 times on our SUV. Then, it began shutting off before the designated pressure setting. Now it doesn't even power up. It's dead.Updated... 4/11/23They have sent a replacement. I've used it 4 times and the replacement has died. It lights up on the display but it won't pump at all. I was told via email there's a 2 year warranty on these. I'm hoping for a full refund. Don't buy this. It works great at first but apparently isn't build to stand up for any length of time. We'll soon see if they honor the warranty which I have an email stating the length of the warranty. I want my money back. Period....

Max air pressure achieved is 85 PSI
This pump was advertised as a 150 PSI pump. The most I was able to get was 85 PSI. There is no way that this pump could ever achieve 150 PSI
