BlueseaRecliner Handle Replacement Without Cable, Oval Shaped Handle

This is my 2nd time to purchase one of these! The first time was to replace a broken handle. Now that the price has gone down substantially, I am purchasing a 2nd one to hold on to just in case another breaks.My reclining furniture is generic. The hubs told me to find a replacement handle in this shape, this is what I got, and it worked perfectly. Be sure to watch a youtube video on how to replace, though!

The shipping can take about a month to arrive, but it's a fine product once received. You want my advice? Buy this product and one of the $15 handles that has prime shipping. That allows you to fix the broken piece right away and you can save the second piece for when the other side of the recliner also breaks. Or you can do like I did and just replace the old unbroken piece. Either way, I fixed my recliners for less than 20 bucks.

Is not a completely perfect fit, but was claimed to be universal so met my expectations that it would fit in the opening and function. Low delivery cost reflective of longer delivery time.

This takes and extremely long time to receive and lasts about one year before it breaks and you need to purchase an other.

Exact replacement for the one I broke on my chair. Very quick shipping from the vendor. I did a little extra to beef it up so I don't break this one so quickly. I filled the voids in the molded plastic handle with quick cure epoxy to give it more strength from flexing, and with that, it does make it feel much more solid than the original one did.

This handle shows up in the list when Lazy Boy Parts is searched.This handle will never work with the Lazy Boy Couch that has a similar looking handle.You have to look really close and the photos do not help.The cable for this handle does not connect in the same way as the Lazy Boy. It is 180 degrees opposite.That said, it was only $8, so I threw it in the trash.

I pretty much found this by accident. I typed in recliner parts and this was one of the first items listed. To be honest, I didn't even double check the measurements or anything. It looked right, so I bought it. In very glad I did! Looks and fits exactly like the original and only took a minute to install.
