8 large balls make a very nice sized blanket. My daughter and I made these for Christmas Gifts last year - everyone loved them.

Q: How did this compare to the bernat ez blanket yarn

It is very soft and nice actually it is the same. The only difference is that the loops are half the size. The skeins looks to be large but because the loops are smaller. It takes more skeins to produce your project depending on what you are making. I must say that the yarn is bright and pretty. The colors are very rich.
