Short version: hat (barely) fit my huge noggin, glasses were better than I expected, and nobody at the costume party had any trouble recognizing who I was trying to be. If you've got the suit, this set of hat and glasses will be all you need to buy for a Blues Brothers costume.Long version: Got invited to an out of town party at a relatively swanky place. Got my suit dry-cleaned and was ready to go when I found out it was a *costume* party. The venue led me to believe it was probably a "dressed up but also in costume" sort of affair, so I tried to brainstorm some cheap costume ideas I could throw together with a black suit.After some brainstorming, some furious googling, and perhaps a bit of divine intervention (you could say I was on a mission from God), I realized Elwood Blues would be perfect (let's face it...most of us can't swing Belushi--or at least shouldn't try at a fancy venue).The hat and glasses were cheap, arrived quickly, and totally fit the bill. I have a pretty huge head, and if we're being totally honest the hat was definitely too small for me, but I was able to make it work for a short party. It's made of the sort of cheap material you'd expect from a costume hat (go touch any hat at your local pop-up Halloween shop and you'll get the idea). The glasses were actually a bit sturdier than I expected and were in great shape. They were heftier than I expected and while I wouldn't trust them to actually protect your eyes from the sun in any meaningful way, they were great here.The hat survived the party in great shape, so I've tucked it and the glasses away for next time I get blindsided by a surprise costume party.

Bought them for Blues Brothers costumes for my husband and my son. The hat was obviously big for my 4 year old, but still looked adorable. Great stuff! And it arrived just in time for the party. (Hooray for 2 day shipping!)

Fine as advertised

The fedora and sunglasses fit as expected and match the product pictures. I’m giving this 3 stars because I’m disappointed in the quality versus the price. Yes, I expected it to be a cheap party hat and glasses, but the glasses came super scratched up making them difficult to see out of. For $10.99 plus shipping, I’d expect to at least have glasses that didn’t look like they were scuffed on asphalt and then shipped. You’re better off looking for this in a party store, where I’m sure they’d be priced more accurately. I wouldn’t pay more than $5 for the whole set (glasses and fedora). But I guess that’s what I get for searching last minute and paying for the convenience of buying off Amazon with Prime shipping.And they did work great for my purposes – a Blue’s Brothers bar crawl.

ITS NOT A FEDORA! It’s a cowboy hat. NOT A CHILDREN’S Size. Cheap $1 glasses. Not worth the money at all. Very disappointed.
