I bought this inexpensive adapter cable in order to view photos from my Nikon CoolPix S6300 camera on my large screen HDTV. The extra length allows me to sit on my sofa and use the camera to control the viewing of photos in a much larger format. Great for playing back photos of special events to a group (at the risk of boring your audience to death). Photos do not fill the entire TV screen viewing area, but certainly look MUCH better than the tiny lcd screen of a camera or other device. Videos recorded in 1080 format WILL fill the entire screen of my Samsung 55" HDTV. No noticeable degradation of photos or video with this cable. Use this cable to connect a MINI HDMI output connection (from any device that has one) to a standard HDMI input on your TV or monitor. All you need to do after connecting and powering up your device is use your TV remote to change the viewing source from TV to the HDMI input you plugged the cable into.

Needed these to hook my computer up to my 50" HDTV. Works like a charm. Just make sure you know how long you need before you buy it. Don't measure exact. Make sure the tape measure goes slack like the cable would. If you just measure how far up the wall and how far over, you will be short. Also make sure you have slack coming from the backs of the devices. You don't want them pulling while plugged in or it can pull the whole assembly loose and ruin your TV or DVR whatever. Just give it some slack is all I'm saying. Don't buy 10 extra feet you don't need but make sure it's not pulled tight either. Or do buy 10 extra feet. Who knows? You may want to move the TV later. Or you may want to move everything over a foot to make room for something but didn't give yourself slack. This is the cable you want. You just gotta figure out how much you need now. :)

I bought this cable so I could play pictures on my Canon PowerShot Camera directly to my HD television and to be able to be far enough away from the TV so I could sit and enjoy the pictures. This cable performed well carrying 1080p HD video from camera to the TV without hesitation. This appears to be a well made cable yet it was 1/4 the price of what I could find in the box stores. The only con to this cable was that the coating to the cable was a little stiffer then some of the braided more flexible more expensive cables, but it is still flexible enough to rap into a small coil to stuff into my brief case.

I bought this to use in TWO different scenarios. 1. For "tethered" shooting to a 60" TV when conducting photography classes. Instead of having everyone over around a tiny laptop screen to see an imported image in LightRoom or Capture One, I just use this baby to show both LIVE VIEW mode and/or the photographed image (esp. when using studio lighting). It functions very well. 2. For pushing a live view output to my Lilliput 7" monitor (I reviewed that as well) for others to watch the recording while being away from the action. If I'm doing a 1-on-1 interview the rest of the crew or bystanders and watch the output on a TV or the Lilliput without being in the way. I've had no issues with quality, reduced resolution or connection failures. Great accessory for my work.

Purchased the 15ft cable to use with my Fujifilm FinePix 3D W3 camera and Vizio 3D TV. The 3D image seems to display perfectly; no loss of signal or distortion that I can perceive on stills or 3D video. The 15ft length allows me to sit an appropriate distance from my TV and operate camera for playback. The connectors fit completely and snugly into sockets on both camera and TV. The cable is thick-ish but flexible, uncoiled nicely and now after a few days has relaxed and lays almost completely flat. When ordering I was initially concerned about possible signal loss in a 15ft cable, but no probs whatsoever so far. Good value for the $. Package arrived undamaged and on-time. I rarely give 5 star reviews, but I can find no fault with this product.

I am using this to connect my Nvidia shield tablet to my television. I needed an extra long one so I could use the touch screen on the couch while presenting the image on the big screen. It feels solid enough where it isn't cheap, but don't expect top quality cabling either (if you did, you would be looking at higher priced cables anyway). The image and audio quality are perfect. I would highly recommend this cable to anyone who needs a micro to a full sized that is longer than 3 feet and doesn't cost as much as a full tank of gas.

Works just as advertised. I do videos for my church. I have this cable connected to my camera through mini hdmi and the hdmi to my 27in HP Monitor and let me tell you that everything works flawless. I was able to see clearly and make adjustments to my videos. When I got home to edit my videos I noticed that they were very clear and spot on. This wire did exactly what I needed it to do for less then 10 bucks. GET IT

I bought this cable at this hefty price thinking it is made in USA as the product description says it is imported from USA. May be it is. But the packing said, "MADE IN CHINA". The cable works fine, but I wouldn't have paid this price if I had known that this was made in China and not USA. I find a lot of discrepancies in many product descriptions and the product pictures posted on AMAZON and there is no way to directly ask Amazon about it like I can do on EBAY. If I ask a question, someone totally unaccountable for the product and its quality and performance supplies the answer which may or may apply to the specific item I am looking forward to buy.. It is disappointing. I would like to directly ask AMAZON or its sellers about the product before I buy. That would avoid unnecessary hassles.

I got this to play my Neo Geo Mini on my TV and bigger monitors. Works perfectly fine. The value is in the price, pretty decent for the amount of cord you get.

this cable works fine. hooked up my sumvision astro tablet pc to the tv and it all works ok. not much more to say, it does exactly what its supposed to without any probs.
