I had to install a bunch of these handles on our new privacy fence because the fence install only included one handle on each gate for some reason. These screwed onto the gates just fine and I think they look nice and get the job done. One of the handles I bought came with the packaging all covered with an orangey powder inside though. It looked like rust, so I requested an exchange before opening the package, which Amazon of course handled very well as usual. After they told me to dispose of the defective one, I opened the package to see how rusty it really was, and it was actually fine. I still don't know what the powder was, but it wiped right off and the handle was perfect.

I'll have to put a smallblock of wood between this and the fence to make up for the difference. I just need a cheap solution, and this even feels sturdy. Looks nice, did the job I needed, and at a great price. I have no reason to give it less than five stars. I just wish they listen the size of the screws somewhere in the listing.
