DedaElementi Unisex's Dabar Tri Aero Handlebar Tape, Black, 42cm

I want to make clear that I did not purchase this from Amazon. If you google the item you can find it from other vendors sometimes as low as $115. Having said that, I always come to Amazon when I want a review on something, and could not find anything written on this item in Amazon nor anywhere else, so I decided to be the first to review for the benefit of others. I own a few different handle bars. By far for long commuting I find the bull horns/pursuit bars to be the most comfortable w/ more choices of grips. The last one I had was the Fyxiation 3.8 pursuit bars and they were very comfortable. This Deda Dabar though is on another level of comfort and ... price tag. First off is carbon fiber so it's a whole lot better absorbing the shock from the road. The bar is 3.7 all around and the thicker grip is a lot more comfortable for me. I've never had flat bars (like the cinelli mash) but I feel the round thicker grip is better than the flat on and gives you more options for grips. Also the flat area were the bars make the turn are perfectly located and makes for a nice resting places. You can go with a couple of different grip in that area. It also has a subttle drop and that adds to the comfort. I've only had it for a week but so far it has been a very good choice. It took a while for it to be delivered (I couldn't find a company in the US that sold it) but now that is finally here it was well worth the wait. Unfortunately I paid $155 for it and after I placed the order and it shipped I found it on another site for $115. Oh well, do you research before you commit but I guarantee you that if you can afford it you'll be happy with how it feels and how it looks!
