Battery lasted just over a year. Not good!
Original review: ***** (5 stars) So far, so goodFor $39 from seller Zipeak, I bought this larger capacity battery to replace the 7-year old original Sony one which was only lasting 20 minutes. Following the included instructions, I installed the new battery without the power lead. It registered 49% remaining charge and it ran for 2 hours during normal use before depletion. I then charged it to 100% which took a little over 4 hours.So far, so good.Edit: after 15 months, I noticed this battery was only holding a few minutes charge and today, I moved my laptop, the power cord shifted and the laptop went dead. The battery does not hold any charge - zero -

if it doesn't work it's bad, if it works it's good
Not sure how one is supposed to review a battery; if it doesn't work it's bad, if it works it's good. This one works just fine with my old Sony VAIO, replacing the dead, nonchargeable one. My system is portable once again.

Worked OK for a short time but was very heavy and pushes your laptop off the desktop.

Great price
So far, so good. Fits and holds a good charge. Battery is thicker than stock, but is only a minor inconvenience for me.
